Colored floating text for crits and level-ups, an Adventurer's Guide at world spawn with a guided welcome, rotating Bounty Boards and a Token Shop with an XP Exchange, and menu polish. - **New: colored floating text.** Critical hits flash a red **CRIT!** on your target; skill level-ups float a gold **Mining LV 50** above you. On by default, translated into every language, and toggleable (each or all) in `combat-text.json`. XP gains show in the corner feed instead of floating above mobs. - **Changed: critical hit notifications start off.** With the red **CRIT!** floating text marking every crit, the separate corner notification now defaults to off for everyone, existing players included. Turn it back on any time in the skills menu's **Settings**. - **New: the Adventurer's Guide.** A guide NPC stands at your world spawn (relocate or disable in `spawn-hub.json`). Talk to it for a hub with one-click tiles to your skills, quests, achievements, abilities, mastery, and boosts - plus any installed boards and shops - with your live contracts previewed beside them. - **New: a guided welcome.** Your first chat with the guide walks you through the whole mod, each step previewing the real screen with your server's actual content and balances. It teaches the **/xp** command, gets you a **Skills Menu Scroll** for your hotbar, covers only what your server has enabled, and re-opens any time from the **"?"** in the window header. - **New: Bounty Boards.** Rotating kill, gather, train-a-skill, and delivery contracts that pay Bounty Tokens plus skill XP. Everyone sees the same board each rotation; accept what you like, finish anywhere, auto-claim. Reroll a single contract for a few tokens, and harder contracts stay **Locked** until your combat level is high enough. Boards are placeable posters (a daily and a weekly ship ready-made) with their own achievement and daily-streak chains, and the whole feature toggles from the admin menu. Boards, contracts, blocks, and NPCs ship in the free **[MMO Skill Bounty Pack](https://www.curseforge.com/hytale/mods/mmo-skill-tree-bounty-board-pack-rich-customizable)**. - **New: the Token Shop.** Spend your Bounty Tokens at a placed **Token Trader** poster or NPC: XP boosts, item caches, and currency conversions, with a rotating **Featured** shelf (paid reroll, capped per day) above the always-available catalog. Offers can be combat-level gated or capped per day, and locked offers explain why inline. Ships in the same free pack. - **New: the XP Exchange.** A second storefront that turns bounty earnings into skill XP. Every skill gets its own XP packets; a few are featured daily under **Today's XP Deals** (rerollable), and an all-skills bundle is always available. Each exchange costs Bounty Tokens AND Life Essence and is capped per day - a steady sink, not a shortcut. - **New: Items Picked Up stat.** The Statistics view's Gathering section now tracks your lifetime items picked up alongside blocks broken and fish caught. - **Translatable content text.** Shop offers, quest titles and flavor, currency names, achievements, mastery tracks, and reward lines now localize through the same language files as the menus, so the whole mod and its content packs can be fully translated. - **Polish: menus.** Bounties appear in your quest log under their real names with a Bounty tag; every price renders as coin chips beside the **Buy** / **Reroll** buttons so nothing is cut off; reward rows spell amounts out as text (**+110 Bounty Tokens**, **Crude Repair Kit x3**) with proper icons; category tabs hide when you have no skills in them; achievement rewards claim from the detail page with the full breakdown shown; pin/track buttons use the same **+** / **-** glyphs everywhere. - **Polish: in-menu toasts and safe purchases.** Purchases, rerolls, and claims confirm with a colored banner inside the open menu, listing exactly what you received. A purchase can never eat your tokens: undeliverable rewards are refunded on the spot or arrive on your next login. - **Balance: achievement rewards retuned.** Point milestones cost more (Bronze 500 up to Diamond 24,000) and grant far less flat XP; the top and server-first achievements got the biggest cuts. Boost tokens, announcements, and point values are unchanged. - **Fixed: Defense XP token rewards** used an item id that does not exist and silently granted nothing; they now deliver the correct tokens. - **Fixed: garbled achievement broadcasts.** Server-wide unlock announcements are now well-formed and name the achievement. - **Fixed: "max every skill" achievements** were impossible on servers without the Taming skill; disabled skills no longer count toward them or generate unreachable achievements. - **Fixed: command help** showed positional syntax the server rejects; all help text and docs now show the working `--name=value` form in every language.
