Description
MapMarkers is a server-side mod that allows you to create custom map markers using PNG images.
MapMarkers has also been updated with a brand-new Map Exploration System. With this feature, map chunks are automatically revealed as players explore the world, creating a more immersive exploration experience. This system works seamlessly alongside the custom marker system, allowing you to view both explored areas and your custom map markers.
Create a 64×64 PNG image, place it inside the custompng folder, then use:
/mk set <image> <name>
to add your custom marker to the map.
Commands
-
/mk set <image> <name>— Adds a custom marker to the map. -
/mk sethere <image> <name>— Places the marker at your current location. -
/mk list— Lists all available PNG images. -
/mk remove <image>— Removes all markers using the specified image. -
/mk clear <image> <name>— Removes a specific marker by its name. -
/mk import— Reloads all saved PNG images. -
/mk reload— Reloads the world's marker assets. -
/explorersmapmarkers— Opens the map configuration menu, allowing you to customize the exploration system and configure how explored areas are revealed.
Information
This mod is designed exclusively for servers, as only server operators (OPs) have permission to use its commands.
There is currently no limit to the number of map markers that can be created, allowing you to add as many as you need. All existing commands remain unchanged, while the new map exploration system and configuration menu provide even greater control over explored areas and custom markers.
