Magic Change:
Fixed some UI stuff with the Grimoire (big apologies, I did not run into this in my testing with the ui but I got reports of it shortly after the update and was able to work with them to get it fixed)
Blood Changes:
Made it so laser pointer has less restrictions (doesn't need a support, can be placed facing down, can place things like mana torches on top of it)
Made it so the blood stick can stop interaction with all different things with an interaction, it can also stop certain blocks from spreading their light (allowing for blood controlled lamps).
Fixed blood signal states of certain things (eg. mana torch) not persisting across shutdown/restart.
Added Blood Transmitter and Blood Receiver
Added Handheld Typewriter, this allows you to bind a handful of keys to a port for the blood receiver, meaning you can have some amount of control over things with it (eg. turning on/off a propeller, controlling a claw machine type contraption, etc)
Vehicle Changes:
Steering wheel has been entirely removed, it was too magical and wasn't gonna allow for cool things like controlling flaps on a plane for flight or good offroading experiences or anything. You should use the newly added handheld typewriter in it's place with more complex vehicles.
Added Torsion Spring (you can set a value and it'll rotate to that value and then stop, when it stops receiving rpm it'll reverse back to the rotation before being rotated)
Reworked clouds so instead of providing enough lift to fly they can only provide enough lift to cancel out gravity and that they also provide normal lift (meaning it can cause things like tipping)
Added balloons, these are to be used with the small campfire (which now has a recipe and shows up in the tutorial book), you create a balloon type shape with it (where the only opening is the bottom where the campfire is) and then all the balloon blocks in that shape will provide lift, this is basically the replacement for the old clouds.
Better connection detection for vehicle contraptions
Added 'Slimeball' which can be used to connect a vehicle contraption to another vehicle contraption or connect a vehicle contraption to a physics bearing.
Added 'Sails' which can be used in 2 ways:
1. On a normal vehicle contraption they will generate drag and lift
2. When placed on a physics bearing in a symmetrical fashion (but the normal sail blocks, not symmetric sail blocks) and spun they will generate propulsion in the same way that the turbine used to.
Turbine has been deleted (replaced by sails).
Added Symmetric Sails which are sails that only generate drag (no lift).
3 notices about vehicles:
- right now offroading with wheels is not very good, it makes the parent of the wheel mount very shaky, I am working on tweaking this but it is very difficult to get right. Additionally right now there is no direct functionality for turning a wheel built into the wheel mounts (this will come in the future where you'll be able to provide a blood signal on the front to turn the wheel right and back to turn the wheel left) so as of right now you have to turn via actually turning off motors individually (eg. turning off your left side but keeping your right side on to turn left), this can be done with the handheld typewriter and clutches but just be aware that while it is a struggle right now there will be an easier option in the future.
- planes are currently very hard to make right now, they basically require an aerospace degree to get working right now and it doesn't even make much logical sense, I'm gonna be working on tweaking this as well so planes are easier to create but also not just magical.
- There can be some odd behavior on loading a backup or sometimes even just logging in where you had something connected to a physics bearing and it just fell off, I'll continue trying to fix this but in the mean time you're just gonna have to reattach it through the 'Slimeball' whenever it happens (for me it was only happening whenever I loaded a backup).
