Bump to update 4
Added vehicle contraptions, for full details it's recommended to read the new section in rotation regarding them in the tutorial book, as a short tldr:
Added Super Super Glue which lets you create vehicle contraptions, in their initial state it will basically just be blocks that have physics. You can place against these blocks, break these blocks like normally, stand on these blocks, etc.
Added Steering Wheel, this is for vehicle contraptions, when placed on a vehicle contraption it'll halt all propulsion unless it is mounted, when mounted you can hold 'W' to restore propulsion, you still need a propulsion source, pressing W on a vehicle contraption with no propulsion source will not move you. When used with a contraption with 15+ clouds you use the binded jumping key to ascend and the binded walking key to stop ascent or to descend.
Added Stabilizer, this can stabilize a vehicle contraption so it does not tilt, simply place it on a side of the vehicle contraption.
Added Clouds, they add buoyancy and lift, with 15+ clouds the contraption will begin to float, you can control this flight with a steering wheel.
Added Turbine, gives propulsion in the opposite direction of it's placement when receiving rotation.
Added Propeller, gives propulsion in the opposite direction of it's placement when in the water and receiving rotation.
Added wheel, you can provide with rotation to move (if you wanted to have something like turning without a steering wheel you could power one wheel more than the other), it is not necessarily necessary for you to power the wheels at all though, you can use another propulsion source like turbines and leave the wheels unpowered.
Added large wheel, just a version of the wheel that's larger and can step up a block.
Added Telekinesis wand, right clicking shows you a list of all your vehicle contraptions and lets you teleport them to you, left clicking while looking at a vehicle contraption will let you move it around.
Added Spline Rail, right click a start point and end point to place, left click a placed rail to adjust certain parameters of the spline rail, Rail Carts can ride these spline rails.
Added Boost Rail, right click on a placed spline rail section to make that sub section a boost rail section, you can left click a boost rail to tune it's velocity effect.
Added train track, right click a starting point and ending point to place, you can place track wheels on this, allowing for train contraptions.
Added track wheels, you can place these on train tracks and then place blocks on them to create a train contraption, train contraptions are HEAVILY WIP compared to normal vehicle contraptions, it is recommended to keep your velocity on these to a minimum by reducing your rotational input to your propulsion (like turbine) with gear ratios.
Something of note for all vehicle contraptions is that block animations do not work (eg. if you open a chest you will not see the chest open), regardless there is proxying for placement, breaking and interaction, special handling for chairs, spell turrets, mechanical breakers and mechanical placers. All vanillas blocks I have tried have not been problematic, I have not tried many other mods however unless they are doing something weird they should also work just fine, in some cases if another mod's block is meant to do a scan for something close to it that scan will fail (eg. if another mod had wireless energy and your energy source that it was scanning for was not on the contraption itself it would fail), this is simply because all of the actual blocks are teleported far away and you are interacting with a entity recreation that has proxying, if you run into a specific issue with another mod then leave a comment please.
Some Magic updates:
Added a pierce token, this comes with the depth glyph, it allows a projectile to pierce an additional enemy (per pierce token) and resolve on each one. Incompatible with AoE modifiers.
You can now left click to 'edit' a token, this allows you to swap it out for another token, move it's position or edit it's properties for certain tokens like 'target' that have input properties, now you can only right click to remove tokens instead of the previous left click and right click being able to delete tokens.
Added a new visual glyph which comes with a few new tokens, specifically 'Visual' prefix modifier which allows you to modify the visual of your projectile or beam, 'Visual' main modifier which does the same but for propagated projectiles, 'Visual' main token which allows you to do an on resolve effect, and a 'Casting Visual' which allows you to perform a certain action while casting, specifically 'Open Grimoire', 'Swing Staff', 'Lift Staff', and a variety of left handed and right handed actions that you can configure in a series.
Added a new visual size glyph which allows you to adjust the visual size of projectiles or on impact effects. This does increase the hitbox of projectiles but does not increase how many blocks or entities it can resolve on, so be aware of that.
Added a new propagate sky projectile, this has an internal cooldown on how often any given propagate sky projectile can resolve on an entity to prevent abuse, specifically it can resolve twice a second on a single enemy.
Added a new chance glyph, lets you give a prefix or main token a % chance to resolve, from 1 to 99%.
Added Constant Pull token which comes with the pull glyph, this constantly pulls entities to the middle of the resolution point.
Added Lift and Drop tokens, these come with the knockback glyph, these are identical to knockback but instead of using directional context of the caster it will simply do up or down.
Added AoE Exclusion Token, it's a main modifier that allows you to exclude a main token from the effects of AoE prefix modifiers.
Added Up, Down, Left, Right, Forward, Backward glyphs, these are prefix and main modifiers that allow you to control where that specific part of the spell resolves with an offset from the initial resolution.
Added Up, Down, and Duplicate buttons to the spell list.
Added an import and export for spells so you can copy and share them elsewhere easier.
Vehicle contraptions very much defy the game and as such you may run into bugs, please report them in the comments, they should be mostly stable except from the issues with train contraptions not proprely stopping when they meet the end of a track (will be fixed in a future update, but basically I was having issues unless I made it grid aligned which I do not want to do).
