Machine Blocks 1.3.6 — Forestry Expansion
The Tree Cultivator received a substantial botanical upgrade after several complaints that its trees appeared suddenly and without the required growth paperwork.
- Added 60 visible growth stages across the full 60-second cycle.
- Added species-specific trees for Oak, Birch, Spruce, Maple, Redwood, Ash, Fire, Jungle, Azure, Aspen, and Bamboo.
- Saplings now grow into the correct miniature tree.
- Added continuous growth sparkles covering the cultivator’s 0.8 × 0.8-block soil area.
- Growth effects stop when processing stops.
- Tree collision sizes expand as the plant develops.
- Updated the Forestry documentation.
Several interns were assigned to count all 60 growth stages. Three remain at stage 47. Recovery efforts have been reclassified as landscaping.
Use is approved.
The Unfortunate 1.3.5.1 Incident
Version 1.3.5.1 contained exactly the same machines, code, forestry improvements, particles, and documentation as version 1.3.6.
Unfortunately, Hytale requires plugin versions to contain exactly three numeric sections:
major.minor.patch
The experimental fourth section caused Hytale to reject the manifest before Machine Blocks could load. The JAR therefore achieved complete operational stability by performing no operations whatsoever.
- No Machine Blocks code failed.
- No compatibility failure occurred.
- No dependencies were responsible.
- The version number alone prevented loading.
- Renaming the file would not repair its internal manifest.
The incident has been classified as a clerical containment failure.
What 1.3.5.1 Actually Added
Nothing beyond 1.3.6.
It was a one-off build containing the complete 1.3.6 update under an invalid version number. All 60 growth stages, 11 tree species, particle effects, collision changes, and documentation were already present.
The artifact has been denied release status.
Install 1.3.6 instead. Further decimal experimentation is discouraged.
