🌿 New World Contest Submission – Jungle River & Dungeon Mod 🌿

Hello everyone,
this is my project for the New World Contest by Hytale & CurseForge. I hope you enjoy it!

This mod introduces a custom-built world featuring multiple biomes and environments, with a strong focus on atmosphere, immersion, and exploration.

🌌 Underground Cave Systems

A major highlight of this mod is the underground.
You’ll discover a large, interconnected cave system featuring multiple unique environments.

One of the key areas is a mystical mushroom cave, filled with glowing mushrooms that create a dark, slightly eerie atmosphere, designed to feel immersive and adventurous.

Alongside that, there are several cave variations with small water pools and overgrown roots, adding more natural detail and variation.
All major caves are connected through smaller tunnels, forming one cohesive underground network.

🌊 Surface & River Environment

On the surface, the mod features an overgrown river ecosystem brought to life with:

corals
seagrass
and many small environmental details

The riverbanks are carefully designed to create a natural and believable transition between water and land.

🌳 Treehouse Village

Scattered throughout the jungle, you’ll also discover treehouses, which together form a small jungle village and add life to the environment.

🌴 Jungle Biome

Next to the river lies a dense jungle biome, filled with massive trees and rich tropical vegetation.
The goal is to create a world that feels alive and immersive.

Hidden within the jungle, you’ll find an ancient temple, which serves as the entrance to something much larger…

🏛️ Dungeon System

The dungeon is accessed through the temple, where you’ll find a teleport that transports you directly into a large, procedurally generated dungeon system.

It consists of many interconnected rooms and corridors and spans across three vertical levels, each offering new areas to explore.

How to Use This Mod
1. Download the mod and place it into your mods folder.
2. Unzip the downloaded file.
3. Important: Delete the original .zip file from the mods folder.
4. Launch the game, open your world, and enable the mod.

Important:

A second mod is required for the dungeon generation to work properly.
Requires an additional mod: "GridWave" by bblessed
Make sure your game version matches the required mod version

In-Game Usage:

Switch to Creative Mode to access the Ancient Gateway.
Use the portal keys to travel to the Jungle River and the Dungeon.
