HyTesla Electricity Mod – Early Showcase

A mod introducing electricity to Hytale, featuring cables, generators, and power consumers. Inspired by the 1890–1899 era, it brings early industrial electrical technology into the game world.

This mod is currently a work in progress and in a very early stage of development. Many bugs and issues are expected. At this point, it mainly serves as a showcase to demonstrate the core concept and future potential of the system.

Current features include:

A wrench tool used to create cables and connect machines together
Press Use / F on blocks to display their electrical connections
A generator (work in progress) that produces 100 amps
A consumer / lamp (work in progress) that consumes 20 amps
Generators and consumers can be connected in series
Planned voltage tiers: Low, Medium, and High voltage (not yet active)
An overload system that shuts down the entire network if total consumption exceeds available generator amperage
Press Use / F on a generator to toggle it on or off

The electrical system is also designed to support automation mechanics, similar in spirit to Minecraft’s redstone, allowing machines and devices to be powered, triggered, and interconnected to build automated setups.
