Hytegrity: Anti‑Cheat for Hytale

Hytegrity is a lightweight, configurable anti‑cheat focused on data driven detections. It detects common movement exploits (speed, flight, teleport, noclip) and gives admins a clean in‑game UI to tune alerts, thresholds, cooldowns, and punishments. The goal is simple: improve player experience without sacrificing server performance and keeping false positives as low as possible.

Installation

1. Download the latest Hytegrity .jar.
2. Place it into your server’s mods/ folder.
3. Start the server once to generate config files.
4. Use the /anticheat command to open the UI (operators only).

Quick Start (Recommended)

1. Open the Global Settings page.
2. Enable the anti‑cheat, configure alerts, and apply globally.
3. Open each detection tab to fine‑tune thresholds.
4. Add trusted players to Whitelist and staff to Staff Alerts.

Detections

Speed Detection

Flags players exceeding expected movement speed based on server physics.

• Key settings: Threshold multiplier, sample size, speed multipliers (air/fluid/glide).
• Good for catching speed hacks without punishing normal sprint.

Flight Detection

Detects sustained airborne movement without permission.

• Key settings: Max flying ticks (default 45), allowed states (glide, climb, slide).
• Ignores short hops and pure falling to reduce false positives.

Teleport Detection

Detects large, suspicious position changes.

• Key settings: Min distance, time window, rate limit, vertical allowance.
• Can ignore server‑side teleports if desired.

NoClip Detection

Detects movement through solid blocks.

• Key settings: Penetration depth, check interval, allowed movement states.

Settings Overview

Global Settings

• Anti‑cheat: Master enable/disable.
• Exempt Operators: Ignore ops globally.
• Debug Mode: Prints detailed detection logs.
• Temp Ban Duration: Default duration for temporary bans.

Alerts (Global + Per‑Detection)

• Console / In‑Game / Discord toggles
• Cooldowns per channel
• Discord Webhook URL
• These can be applied globally or tuned per detection.

Punishments

• Kick, Temp Ban, Perm Ban
• Threshold + time window for kicks
• Custom messages per punishment type

Whitelist

• Add players by username (stored as UUID).
• Whitelisted players are fully exempt from checks.

Staff Alerts

• Add staff by username to receive in‑game alerts.
• Staff are not exempt unless also whitelisted.

Notes

• This is a server‑side anti‑cheat. It detects behavior, not client tampering.
• For best results, test thresholds on your server’s movement config.
