🚨 IMPORTANT: FRESH INSTALL RECOMMENDED

To guarantee peak stability and ensure all new features load correctly, we strongly advise a clean installation:

1. Remove any old versions of HyOptimizer.jar from your mods/ folder.

2. Delete the existing mods/HyOptimizer/ configuration directory.

3. Drop in the new v3.0.0 jar and start your server. (Note: While the plugin now includes an auto-reset feature that backups old settings, a manual wipe is the most reliable method.)

🎨 New Feature: Chat Colors & Aesthetics

Your server console and chat just got a major visual upgrade!

• Legacy Color Support: All plugin messages now support standard & color codes.

• Modern Parsing: We’ve built a custom parser that translates &a, &b, &6, etc., into Hytale’s native text component system.

• The Result: Notifications like item cleanups now pop with professional Gold (&6) and Green (&a) highlights instead of boring plain white text.

🐛 The "Big Fix" List (Major Bug Squashing)

We went through the code and cleared out the most persistent issues:

1. Readable Console Logs: Fixed the bug where logs showed unreadable Java hashes (like com.hypixel.hytale...). Everything is now plain, readable text.

2. Thread Safety Fix: Eliminated the "World thread not accepting tasks" error. All operations are now safely scheduled using the proper world.execute() protocols.

3. Cleaner Messaging: Fixed the "Duplicate Prefix" bug so [HyOptimizer] only appears once.

4. Logic Corrections: Fixed a formatting error where {mb} (Megabytes freed) wouldn't display correctly due to a data-type mismatch.

5. Spam Suppression: Automatically filters annoying engine warnings like Chunk process timing and InteractionChain errors.

6. No More Debug Noise: Completely removed the [HyOptimizer DEBUG] lines that were cluttering the console during item sweeps.

⚙️ Engine & Behavior Changes

• "Legacy Mode" Now Default: We’ve set the default memoryThreshold to 0.0. This means the plugin will optimize your RAM every cycle (e.g., every 30s) to ensure maximum performance at all times.

• Intelligent Auto-Config Reset: The plugin now detects if your config.json is from an older version. If it’s outdated, it will automatically backup your old settings to config.json.bak and generate a fresh v3 file with the newest defaults.

📝 Configuration Updates

• configVersion: Added to track and manage future updates automatically.

• memoryThreshold: Adjusted from 0.9 → 0.0 (Legacy behavior).
