This software, source code, documentation, examples, assets, snippets,
configuration, and related files are collectively the "Software."

This is a source-available license. It is not an open-source license and is not
intended to satisfy the Open Source Definition, because commercial use is
restricted unless separately authorized.

1. Ownership

Alphine, Krystian Carter, and Hyzion Studios retain all ownership rights, title,
and interest in and to the Software, including all copyright and other
intellectual property rights. No ownership rights are transferred by this
license.

2. Permitted Use

Subject to the terms of this license, you may use, copy, read, study, modify,
compile, run, test, and share the Software and modified versions of the Software
for permitted purposes under this license.

Permitted purposes include personal use, private learning, research, testing,
contribution, review, non-profit community use, and server operation as allowed
under Section 4.

This license allows server owners and operators to use the Software on
monetized servers, but it does not allow commercial exploitation of the
Software's code, source files, snippets, compiled files, modified versions,
forks, repackaged versions, or derivative works unless separately authorized.

3. Attribution and Notices

Any copy, substantial portion, snippet, fork, modification, or redistributed
version of the Software must include:

- the original copyright notice;
- this license; and
- a clear notice that the Software was originally authored by Alphine,
  Krystian Carter, and Hyzion Studios.

You may not remove, hide, or misrepresent copyright notices, license notices,
author credits, or ownership notices included with the Software.

4. Server Use and Commercial Server Operation

You may use, install, run, configure, and operate the Software on personal,
private, public, community, non-profit, or commercial game servers.

For clarity, server owners and operators may use the Software on servers that
receive donations, sell ranks, sell cosmetics, sell access, operate a store,
display advertisements, use subscriptions, receive sponsorships, or otherwise
generate revenue, provided that the revenue is generated from operating the
server or community and not from selling, licensing, sublicensing, leasing,
reselling, redistributing, or commercially exploiting the Software itself, its
source code, snippets, compiled files, modified versions, or derivative works.

Use of the Software as part of operating a monetized server does not grant any
commercial rights to the Software's source code, compiled code, snippets,
modules, assets, documentation, examples, configuration, or derivative works.

5. Commercial Code Use Requires Separate Rights

You may not sell, license, sublicense, rent, lease, resell, monetize,
repackage, include in paid client work, include in a paid software product,
include in a paid mod, include in a paid plugin, host as a paid software
service, or otherwise make profit from the Software itself or any source file,
module, snippet, function, class, method, configuration, example,
documentation, asset, compiled version, modified version, renamed copy, fork,
or derivative work of the Software unless you have an active Code Rights
Subscription or a separate written commercial license from Alphine, Krystian
Carter, or Hyzion Studios.

A "Code Rights Subscription" means an active paid subscription, agreement, or
other written authorization expressly granting commercial rights to use the
Software's code commercially. Commercial code rights last only while that
subscription, agreement, or authorization remains active, unless the written
terms say otherwise.

Without a Code Rights Subscription or separate written commercial license, you
may not profit from:

* the Software as a standalone product;
* the Software's source code or compiled code;
* any source file, module, snippet, function, class, method, configuration,
  example, documentation, or asset from the Software;
* modified, renamed, rebranded, repackaged, or forked copies of the Software;
* compiled, packaged, bundled, or hosted versions of the Software;
* derivative works based on the Software; or
* paid development, consulting, or client work that uses the Software's code as
  part of the deliverable.

This restriction does not prevent server owners from using the Software on
monetized servers as described in Section 4.

6. No Implied Trademark Rights

This license does not grant permission to use the names, logos, brands, or
trademarks of Alphine, Krystian Carter, Hyzion Studios, HyExtras, or any related
project except as necessary to provide required attribution.

7. Contributions

Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, any contribution submitted
to this project is provided under this same license, and the contributor grants
Alphine, Krystian Carter, and Hyzion Studios a perpetual, worldwide,
non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute,
sublicense, and commercially license that contribution as part of the Software.

8. Termination

If you violate this license, your rights under this license terminate
automatically. After termination, you must stop using, copying, modifying,
distributing, or monetizing the Software and must remove the Software from any
project, product, service, package, or repository where your use violates this
license.

Sections concerning ownership, commercial restrictions, attribution, trademark
rights, contributions, warranty disclaimers, liability limits, and termination
survive termination.

9. No Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR
A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. USE OF THE SOFTWARE IS AT
YOUR OWN RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALPHINE, KRYSTIAN CARTER, HYZION
STUDIOS, AUTHORS, COPYRIGHT HOLDERS, AND CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR
ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, LOSSES, OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE
SOFTWARE OR THIS LICENSE, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE.
