The Home Amulet is a tool to take you back home when you're in dire straits or just completely lost by holding it in your hand, and holding right click to charge it up. After the charge, you will be teleported to your nearest respawn point (Bed or World Spawn).

By default, the intention of the Home Amulet is to not be a replacement of the vanilla teleporters so as to maintain the intended gameplay loop, and making it at least a little costly if you want to get out of whatever situation you're in. Perfect for keeping things a little difficult and interesting.
However, if you want it to be more true to QOL integrated to your gameplay, you may configure this (see bottom).

By holding 'F' with at least 2 amulets in the stack, it will bring you back to the last position you died in.
