Description
This mod does not add a new item.
It modifies the existing Capture Crate’s textures and behavior.
With this mod, you can capture any creature, including modded ones.
Be careful: “any” truly means any, and the game is not designed with this in mind.
Recommended use: capture only your tamed creatures.
Avoid capturing bosses or creatures that could break or negatively affect your gameplay.
Configuration
You can change these settings in config file or in-game using commands. For a list of all commands, type: /gnr_ec, /gec or /ec
- Health: Only allows capturing creatures below this value. (use 0 to disable this)
- IsMaxHealth:
true→ compares against the creature’s max healthfalse→ compares against the creature’s current health
- essencePow:
float→ multiplier value applied to NPC max health when it is above 100, to calculate how much Life Essence will be necessary to capture NPC - checkHealth:
true|false→ enable/disable health check - checkEssence:
true|false→ enable/disable essence check - includeRoles:
NPCGroup→ Allows you to add the names of creatures that can be captured (in addition to the Hytale defaults). Example: Croc* -> matches any creature starting with 'Croc'. Use only * if you want to allow every creature in the game - healthBypassRoles:
NPCGroup→ List creatures that bypass health checks. Use *tame* for all tamed creatures - essenceBypassRoles:
