GlymeraSlothGuard-8.0.0.jar
What's new
v8.0.0 (2026-10-16) — no more chasing rats in caves, a config typo can't stop the server
- Fix: warriors chased what they could never reach. The enemy scan was a column of unlimited height: a rat 60 blocks below the cauldron counted as a target, so the warriors ran to the spot above it and stood there looking confused. New setting
verticalRange(default10): enemies more than that many blocks above or below the cauldron are ignored. - Fix: a typo in config.json no longer stops the server. A plain text where a list belongs (
"neverAttackRoles": "Rat") or a missing comma used to crash the plugin while the server was starting. The file is now left exactly as it is, the server log says what is wrong, and the default settings are used until it is fixed. A plain text in the role lists is accepted and turned into a list ("Rat, Molerat"becomes["Rat", "Molerat"]). - Every setting in config.json now has its explanation directly above it (
_namelines), refreshed on every start; your values are kept. The config path is printed in the server log on startup (mods/Glymera_GlymeraSlothGuard/config.json). - Tip: rats are hostile creatures that bite, so the warriors attack them by default. To spare them, set
"neverAttackRoles": ["Rat", "Molerat"]. - Upgrade: replace the jar in
mods/, keep the plugin's data folder and restart the server.
