Augment On-Hit System Restored

A regression introduced during recent combat changes prevented augments from properly receiving On-Hit events whenever certain attacks dealt damage. This caused stacking augments to stop building stacks, duration-based augments to never refresh, and several augment effects to fail to activate.

This has now been resolved with a guarded trigger system that preserves intended balance while preventing duplicate activations.

Improvements

  • The first successful hit from an attack now correctly triggers the augment On-Hit pipeline.

  • Additional hits from the same attack no longer repeatedly trigger augments, preventing AoE multiplication exploits.

  • Stack generation, duration refreshes, shield refreshes, healing effects, and augment bonus damage now function correctly again.

  • Corpse hits no longer consume the single allowed augment trigger.

  • Duplicate activations from chained combat effects have been eliminated.

Passive-only mechanics such as passive lifesteal, Reaping Edge, Swiftness, Blade Dance stacks, True Edge, Retaliation, Blink, and Exhaust intentionally remain limited to basic attacks.

No resource pack or data version changes were required.

Fixed Augment HUD Indicators

Fixed a regression that caused augment HUD indicators to disappear after recent internal selection-system improvements.

Fixed

  • Stacking indicators (including Raging Momentum)

  • Ready/cooldown indicators

  • Augment stack tracking displayed on the HUD

The augment systems themselves continued functioning correctly, but the HUD could no longer resolve selected augments using the updated internal selection format.

The HUD now correctly interprets the newer selection data while remaining fully compatible with previous formats.

Existing optimizations, caching, ordering, and selection behavior remain unchanged.

No resource pack or version bump was required.

Healing Touch Rebalance

Healing Touch has been significantly rebalanced to reduce excessive party-wide healing at higher progression levels while keeping the passive useful.

Balance Changes

  • Reduced Healing Touch's healing values across all Priest tiers.

  • Reduced the healing radius at every tier.

  • Healing now prioritizes you and the lowest-health nearby allies instead of every wounded player in range.

  • Added a 2-second internal cooldown to prevent excessive healing frequency.

  • Updated passive tooltips to reflect the new targeting rules and cooldown.

Additionally, /el reload now correctly refreshes passive definitions so balance changes immediately apply without requiring players to reconnect or swap classes.

BattleMage Balance

BattleMage no longer has access to the Berzerker passive.

This passive is intended to remain part of the Brawler class identity, and BattleMage has been adjusted accordingly.

Fixed Raid World Scaling

Fixed an issue where certain raid shard worlds could permanently identify themselves incorrectly after startup.

This could cause:

  • Incorrect enemy level nameplates.

  • Raid health, damage, and defense multipliers failing to apply.

  • World-specific scaling rules using the wrong configuration until a server reload.

Raid world detection has been rewritten to use more reliable world identification, automatically refresh cached world information when entering raid instances, and eliminate the startup edge case that caused incorrect scaling.

Existing correctly functioning raid worlds are unaffected.

Internal Improvements

  • Builtin data version updated 139 → 142.

  • Passive data version updated 3 → 4.

  • Improved combat pipeline reliability and consistency.

  • Simplified internal combat processing.

  • Improved reload handling and cache invalidation.

  • Refactored several internal APIs to reduce long-term maintenance complexity.

  • Performed additional internal cleanup and optimization work.

  • Existing player progression and save data remain fully compatible.

  • Existing EndlessLeveling addons remain compatible with 10.1.0.
