Outlander Warchief Rework

The Outlander Warchief encounter has received a major overhaul focused on both gameplay clarity and performance.

Ability Updates

  • Bulwark has been redesigned into expanding stone shockwaves instead of repeatedly spawning large filled block structures.

  • Shockwave and War Stomp now use expanding stone-ring attacks for improved visuals and readability.

  • Focus now applies a stun effect instead of spawning temporary block cages.

  • The Warchief is now immune to knockback and can no longer be pushed around the arena.

Performance Improvements

  • Reduced player scanning frequency and optimized boss targeting systems.

  • Optimized ability rendering and cleanup.

  • Reduced world-thread load during large Warchief encounters and Seven Trumpets raids.

Support Passive & Aura Fixes

Fixed an issue where several support abilities were not correctly scaling from a player's actual stamina pool.

Affected abilities include:

  • Healing Aura

  • Party Mending Aura

  • Shielding Aura

  • Party Shielding Aura

  • Buffing Aura

  • Party Buffing Aura

  • Healing Touch

Stamina granted from augments, buffs, and other sources is now properly included in calculations.

New Optional Configuration

Added:

  • max_heal_per_pulse

  • max_shield_per_ally

Both default to 0 (disabled) and are fully backwards compatible.

Raid & Rift AI Fixes

Fixed an issue where raid and rift mobs were incorrectly using pull-to-center behavior intended only for the Outlander Bridge event.

This could interfere with normal aggro behavior and affect encounter flow.

Configuration Changes

  • disable_pull_to_center has been replaced with pull_to_center

  • Default behavior is now OFF unless explicitly enabled

  • Outlander Bridge remains unchanged and continues to use pull-to-center mechanics

Dungeon Reward Improvements

Fixed an issue where dungeon reward claim windows could occasionally fail to open correctly after completing a dungeon.

Additional improvements:

  • More reliable reward claim handling

  • Improved menu timing and responsiveness

  • Increased raid reward grace period from 120 seconds to 300 seconds

Raid Reward Changes

Raid leaderboard rewards now ignore personal XP bonus modifiers such as:

  • Discipline bonuses

  • Luck bonuses

  • Archetype XP bonuses

  • Global XP multipliers

Raid rewards now always grant their intended fixed amount of XP.

Combat Performance Improvements

Large optimizations have been made to combat processing:

  • Reduced passive calculation overhead

  • Improved archetype passive caching

  • Optimized augment lookups

  • Reduced repeated combat calculations during attacks

  • Improved retaliation processing performance

These changes are especially noticeable during large fights and high-player-count events.

HUD & UI Optimizations

Improved performance of several UI systems:

  • Reduced unnecessary HUD refreshes

  • Optimized augment overlay updates

  • Improved leaderboard caching

  • Reduced background processing for player information panels

Bailout Augment Fix

Fixed an issue where Bailout's health decay effect could persist after death and continue affecting players after respawning.

The decay state now properly clears when a player dies.

Army of the Dead Improvements

  • Improved summon spawning performance

  • Reduced spawn location scanning costs

  • Improved cleanup behavior for summoned minions
