Highlights

⚔️ Skill Attribute Rework — STR / SORC / DEF now use FLAT scaling

Skill allocations for:

  • Strength
  • Sorcery
  • Defense

have been converted from % scalingflat scaling.

This massively improves early-game stat investment while reducing extreme late-game multiplicative snowballing.

📈 Real Balance Impact

Early Game Buffs

At around Level 30:

  • Old STR scaling: +30
  • New STR scaling: +60

➡️ ~2× stronger early-game allocations

Skill points now feel impactful immediately instead of scaling poorly until late progression.


Late Game Nerfs

At around Level 150:

  • Old scaling: +600
  • New scaling: +360

➡️ Large reduction to infinite multiplicative scaling abuse.

This prevents:

  • Fate stacking abuse
  • Augment multiplier runaway
  • Crit/stat exponential scaling

while preserving meaningful progression.


🎯 Marksman & Assassin Rebalance

Crit-focused classes now have real defensive tradeoffs instead of being universally optimal.

New System: race_mult_percent

Marksman and Assassin now scale part of their crit stats directly from their race basestats.

Marksman

  • +40% race-scaled Precision
  • +25% race-scaled Ferocity
  • DEF ×0.75 - 10
  • -20% Life Force

Assassin

  • +25% race-scaled Ferocity
  • +11 flat Haste
  • +50 flat Pierce
  • DEF ×0.75 - 10

Result

Crit classes now:

✅ Scale harder offensively
✅ Retain unique identity
✅ Have meaningful survivability costs

No more "tank assassin bruiser" stat abuse under Fate scaling.


🟢 Common Augment Overhaul

Common augments have been completely redesigned.

Previously, Common rolls became nearly useless after early progression.

Example old rolls:

  • +5~20 Life Force
  • +1~4 Strength

These values became irrelevant at higher levels.


New Scaling Model

Common augments now scale using % basestat values.

Around Level 20

Old and new Common augments are roughly equal.

Around Level 150

A max-roll Common now provides approximately:

  • +40 LF
  • +4 STR
  • +4 SORC

➡️ Around 8× stronger late-game relevance compared to old scaling.

Commons are no longer dead drops after midgame.

🛡️ Bulwark Edge (ELITE)

Defense-scaling on-hit strike

Every 1.5s, your next hit deals:

  • +15
  • +40% of total Defense

extra damage.

Cannot crit.

Perfect for tank/bruiser builds.


🏰 Titan's Bastion (ELITE)

Converts Defense into adaptive damage.

Effects

  • +50 STR or SORC per 100 DEF
  • +100 flat DEF

Adaptive stat chosen automatically based on highest offensive stat.

Hard Cap

  • Maximum conversion: +300 adaptive damage

💥 Fracture (LEGENDARY)

Armor shred augment inspired by stacking defense-break systems.

Effects

Each hit applies:

  • 3% defense shred
  • Max 10 stacks
  • 30% total defense reduction

Stacks are shared globally across attackers.

Also grants:

  • +100 flat Life Force

☄️ Arcane Comet Rework

Arcane Comet now uses the new MAGIC_ON_HIT system.

New Effects

  • 8s cooldown
  • +50 flat
  • +50% Sorcery
  • 3-block AoE explosion

Cannot crit.

Designed as the magic equivalent to melee proc augments.


🧩 Passive System Refactor

41 passive definitions were migrated from hardcoded Java into external JSON descriptors.
