New Features

  • Endgame Backpack — brand-new craftable item that opens its own 27-slot inventory window (separate from your main backpack). Crafted at the Endgame Bench once you've maxed your main backpack.

Balance — Backpack upgrades reworked

  • Your vanilla backpack now follows a single ordered path: Unlock Backpack → Backpack Upgrade I → Backpack Upgrade II → Backpack Upgrade III. Each step adds 9 slots, for a final size of 36.
  • Backpack Upgrade III is the Endgame step (crafted at the Endgame Bench) — the final upgrade, taking you from 27 to 36 slots. It's the only Endgame backpack upgrade; the earlier extra tiers were removed.
  • Upgrades must be applied in order. Trying to use one out of order shows a "use the previous upgrade first" message.
  • For more storage past 36, use the new Endgame Backpack craftable item above.

Balance — Endgame defense toned down

  • Armor curve smoothed: Onyxium full set 61% → 60% physical, Prisma 74% → 70% physical. Prisma chest projectile (was 78%, higher than physical) brought in line at 70%.
  • Golem Void pet passives lowered: Void Armor 20% → 10% physical, Void Barrier 15% → 8% physical/projectile — so endgame gear + pet no longer stacks toward damage immunity.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a server boot crash — when the plugin failed to start (or was unloaded), a system rebuilt its entity query during cleanup and could crash the whole server instead of failing gracefully. Queries are now cached.
  • Boss health bars fixed on Update 5 — the bar now drops live as you damage the boss, and re-approaching a boss no longer stacks a second bar on top.
  • No more friendly-fire knockback — Prisma weapons and the Onyxium staff no longer fling your teammates around (and damage them) when PvP is off.
  • A Duplicate bug has been fixed.
  • Flame Ward now actually blocks fire — the Fire Dragon pet's tier-S Flame Ward effect was bugged (no damage resistance). It now grants true 100% Fire immunity.
  • Fixed a crash that could kill a dungeon world when looted items expired their per-player window.
  • Fixed the database data/ folder not being created on hosted servers (Pterodactyl etc.) — no more "non-critical" warning at boot.
  • Endgame Memories display fixed on Update 5 — Update 5 moved the Memories UI asset path; the Endgame category and its entries now show at the Memory Bench again.
  • Endgame mob names fixed in the Memories codex — several reskinned mobs (Void Frog, Frost Toad, Frost Feran, Alpha Rex, Frost Spirit, Fen Stalker, and more) were showing the base vanilla creature's name or a blank entry; they now display their proper Endgame names in all 6 languages.

Technical

  • Compatible with the Hytale 0.5.3 update — retargeted to the 0.5.3 game patch; minimum server version is now 0.5.3.
  • Wiki updated — the in-game Wiki (/wiki when Voile mod installed) and the online wiki (wiki.hytalemodding.dev) have been fully updated, with complete item, boss, pictures and feature coverage (normally lol).
