Rootbound Nexus

Rootbound Nexus is a new altar that can be used to craft unique items. Each recipe requires a central item placed on the nexus and a few items placed on Rootbound Pedestals nearby. Additionally, each recipe has an essence cost. Essence will be extracted from nearby essence jars.

Roots of Knowledge

Roots of Knowledge is an easy to craft book that provides information about all of the mod's content! It can be crafted from medium leather and linen scraps in a workbench.

Golemancy

Automate your farms with the new straw golems! These little constructs can be given a will, which allows them to perform specific actions. As of 0.2, the only available will is harvesting will, which allows the golem to harvest crops and move the drops to a nearby chest.

Essence Production

Essence Collectors can be used to capture essence released while harvesting grown crops and the Alchemical Furnace allows you to distill items into pure essence.

Essence Manipulation

Essence jars are elegant containers capable of storing up to 250 units of a single essence type. They can be filled or emptied by interaction or using essence pipes.

Essence pipes offer a new method of moving essence from an essence collector or an alchemical furnace into essence jars.
