Was anybody else disappointed when they got into farming and cooking in Hytale, only to discover we have all these farming ingredients, but only the ability to make Vegetable Skewers? I was.
I got with a friend of mine to compile a list of foods that could be made using vanilla ingredients, and we started modeling and implementing all kinds of foods!
This mod adds no new plants or ingredients. Use vanilla ingredients to make a variety of new dishes!
Foods:
You can craft all foods from this mod using the vanilla cooking station.
Rare: Coconut Cream Pie | Potato Soup | Garlic Bread | Sandwich | Spicy Sandwich | Carrot Cake
Uncommon: Sushi | Pierogis | Ratatouille | Cinnamon Bun | Mashed Potatoes
Fermentation:
While all the foods in this mod are created within the vanilla Chef's Stove, this mod also adds an assortment of drinks you can craft in the new Fermentation Station.
Drinks:
There are 5 Fermented Beverages made from 5 base ingredients. This works as a processing workbench where you leave the items inside for long enough, and they convert. Fermented drinks lose their stamina regeneration effect and replace it with a new inebriation effect that passively builds weapon signature charge. Some drinks can be crafted back in the Chef's stove into other stronger drinks with even better buffs.
Top: Eggnog | Bloody Mary
Middle: Red Wine | Mead | Sake | Vodka | Apple Cider
Bottom: Berry Juice | Starch | Apple Juice
Notes:
If you find it annoying that you can't place foods exactly how you want, make sure to check out my other mod: Prop Rotations
It allows you to rotate food and place several ingredients you couldn't before. Super useful for decorating your homes!
