What's new

0.2.0-beta

English

  • - **Moving whirlwinds:** a vortex can now travel (`moveTo`) and keep ripping and throwing blocks for minutes. It is the engine behind the tornadoes of Extreme Weather.
    - **5 strength levels instead of 3:** 1 leaves and plants; 2 torches, small furniture, sand and gravel; 3 branches and planks; 4 trunks, all wood and windows; 5 the ground itself, wool and cloth. Stone, bricks, ores, metal, chests, benches, doors and beds are never ripped.
    - **Protected areas are respected:** nothing is ripped or placed where the world forbids breaking or building (temples, instances, hubs...) or inside the game's protected zones, and blocks that store data are never touched.
    - **Leaves, grass, flowers and torches** are torn apart on the spot (the game does not let them fly), with their real break particles. Small things that fly break when they land and sometimes drop their item.
    - **Better landing:** blocks land outside the area being ripped and settle on whatever ground is there when they arrive (no more floating blocks). Most chunks of dirt, grass and sand crumble into dust instead of standing everywhere.
    - **Funnel shape:** blocks spin close to a cone-shaped funnel and climb out of their hole before turning, so they no longer get stuck near the ground.
    - **Clean paths:** when too many blocks are in the air, what a vortex passes over is destroyed layer by layer instead of being skipped.
    - Flying blocks are no longer saved with the world (no more blocks flying in a straight line when you come back).
    - `/debris test [blocks] [strength 1-5]` (strength 5 by default).
    - Config: `smallThings.itemDropChance` and `landing.groundKeepChance`.
    - API: `Vortex.moveTo`, `setCone`, `setFunnel`, `setSpinSeconds`, `setStrength`, `setDestroyWhenFull`, `setScour`, `addArea(radius, max, perColumn, groundLayers)`, `Debris.shred`, `Debris.destroy`, `Protection.canBreak/canPlace`.

- API: `Vortex.moveTo`, `setCone`, `setFunnel`, `setSpinSeconds`, `setStrength`, `setDestroyWhenFull`, `setScour`, `addArea(radio, máx, porColumna, capasDeSuelo)`, `Debris.shred`, `Debris.destroy`, `Protection.canBreak/canPlace`.
