Data's Ranks - 1.2 Release

New Features

• Gradient Rank Colors — Ranks now support two-color gradients; set a start and end color in the rank editor to apply a smooth gradient to the rank prefix in chat and above-head display
• Rank Commands — /rank assign, /rank remove, /rank list, /rank info, and /rank set subcommands for managing ranks from chat or console

Bug Fixes for the latest Hytale Server jar

• Visible in Chat — Rank prefix now correctly respects the "Visible in Chat" toggle; disabling it removes the rank prefix from chat entirely
• Color Player Name — The "Color Name Also" option now correctly colors the player's username in both chat and above-head display to match the rank color/gradient
• Visible on Character — Rank prefix now correctly separates the colored rank from the plain username when "Color Name Also" is disabled

Compatibility

• Universal Permission Plugin Support — we now support listening to Hytale's native permission group events, meaning any permission plugin that integrates with Hytale's permission system will automatically sync group assignments to ranks
• Universal Display Name Protection — A new display name guard monitors player display names every 500ms. If any other plugin overwrites a player's display name, we automatically prepends the rank prefix back, ensuring it is always visible
