I'd Call this an Addon vs a Mod. it's JSON only.

I wanted to bring a Kraken to the game, but didn't want to make a normal old Kraken for normal old pirate ships I've already made before.

So instead I made futuristic Kraken Carrier that spawn drones that attack you.
3 different kinds of Drone.

There is no limit you must fight them or they will over take you, or your system.

You can go underground and live there but for how long.

They came for nature, they are taking it. Everyone one else failed. Will you stop them?

Can you stop them?

I doubt it.


2 Bosses that Spawn Drones when you are near by
They can see you from very very far away and will not give up. You must defeat them, hide far far away from them or die. They will not stop spawning drones. No ammo required for the Future weapons. Doors don't do much and they can fly so any holes will ruin your life.

  • Hint when you spawn in game I'd plug those holes and dig ASAP.

Everything is modeled 4x'ish the scale then scaled down ingame so around 256x My goal is closer to HytaleHD so no need to comment hate about my art choices. JSON Only using HyBridge IDE and VFXTale Particle editor.
I think you'll want to have a higherend PC and GPU for this. I made it on a 3090 with 96gb ram at 1024 render distance. Max ram usage with everything going is around 50GB at 1024 maxed settings and 1500NPCs.

I wish this had more features ready at this point but I spent alot of my time on making the JSON IDE editor and particle editor to make this. So there is so much more I want to do and have invisioned

From Water based ships to pawn shop system
If people enjoy this concept I'll get more of it working.
Some things just are janky because I don't figure out in Hytale current state how to make them better

For example the Player Ship/Glider rotates in a odd direction (I have no idea way, it's like the engine is forcing this) Or removing Stamina from gliders, this seems hardcoded)

So I'm sorry this is not more polished. I'm really good at prototyping and making amazing things but horrible at doing everything it takes to give you a great exp. I really need a handler.


Known Issues:
Lang File is having problems and a few Names need fixed
Sometime in world get then Beacon Prefabs overlap, World gen needs more work
Everything needs better Sound Effects and Death Animations

The Goal was you destroy the Beacons and the Ships stop spawning but regardless what I do they would not spawn on the custom blocks. So WIP, I Assume this is a bug and will get fixed. 

There are a few prefabs not spawning in water or overworld yet, the Pawn shops or fishing location


Flight Controls on the SpaceShip are pretty lacking currently.
Left Clicks Turns On/Off so you go up
alitte = on
down fast = off
forward faster = right click
fire rocket = middle click

Watch your Stamina Regen, your flight time is limited.
