The first release of Cultivation! A full Xianxia realm-and-Qi progression system, built from the ground up.

Beta disclaimer: This mod is still in beta. Future updates may require resetting player progress/data as core systems get reworked. I'll do my best to support upgrading from older versions so your data isn't lost, but at this stage it isn't guaranteed.

Progression

  • 7 realms -- Body Refinement, Qi Condensation, Foundation Establishment, Golden Core Formation, Nascent Soul, Soul Formation, and Void Refinement -- each with 4 sub-stages (Early, Middle, Late, Peak).
  • Both sub-stage advancements and realm breakthroughs are real, timed meditation rituals -- meditate in a Spirit-Qi-rich chunk to complete one, and cancelling early costs you a stage. Realm breakthroughs are the bigger, higher-stakes ritual of the two.
  • Meditate to pull ambient Qi from your chunk's Spirit Vein -- a real per-chunk energy pool that depletes and regenerates over time. Rare "rich" veins hold far more Qi than average, giving you a reason to go looking for a good meditation spot.
  • Hunt creatures for a chance at Spirit, Profound, or Divine Cores -- absorb them instantly, or absorb one mid-meditation for a bonus. Consuming a core is automatically blocked (and never wastes the core) while you're mid-ritual.

Races & Life-Bound Treasures

  • Choose a race -- Human, Demon, or Deity -- once you reach Golden Core Formation, each with its own server-tunable bonuses to health, damage, Qi gain, and breakthrough speed.
  • Bind any weapon or armor piece into a Life-Bound Treasure that levels up from combat -- its level shows right in the item's name, and its tooltip tells you exactly how much benefit it's granting.

Interface

  • A full set of Xianxia-themed menus -- Overview, Settings, Race, and (admin-only) Admin -- all linked together with an in-menu navigation bar.
  • Persistent, toggleable HUD showing your realm, stage, Qi, and ritual progress at a glance -- pick which corner of the screen it sits in from the Settings menu.
  • Live in-game admin config editor -- retune the entire mod without ever opening a JSON file -- plus admin commands to directly set or reset any player's realm, stage, race, or Life-Bound gear.
  • Fully localized interface: English, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Ukrainian, and Simplified Chinese, with proper Xianxia terminology throughout -- menus, HUD, and chat messages all translate with your client language.

Under the Hood

  • Every number in the mod lives in a themed config file -- nothing is hardcoded.
  • Works in Singleplayer and Multiplayer.
  • Collects anonymous, opt-out usage analytics (server count, player count) via HStats and Modifold to help guide future development -- no personal data, and you can disable it at any time by editing the generated hstats-server-uuid.txt / modifold-analytics-server-uuid.txt files in your server folder.
