What's new

Everything below is new, because this is where the mod starts.

Villagers

  • Villagers are generated as humans with their own appearance, first name and surname. Their looks are stored and restored, never re-rolled.
  • 15 personalities and 18 traits (athletic, tough, frail, left-handed, heterochromia, albinism, colour-blind, lactose intolerant, coeliac, diabetic, dwarfism, bisexual, homosexual, asexual, infertile, ageless…).
  • Five age stages — baby, infant, child, teen, adult — with real growth over time, and height that follows the stage and the traits.
  • Mutual attraction: who can fall for whom is decided by both sides.
  • A floating nameplate with their name and who they are to you.

You

  • /ca profile to look it up later.

Talking to them

  • Seven social interactions: chat, tell a joke, ask for a story, flirt, hug, kiss, apologise.
  • Answers depend on personality, bond and history — includin already asked the same thing five times today.
  • No cooldown timers. They grow tired of you instead, and th shown on their page.
  • All of it is data-driven: dialogue lives in editable JSON catalogues, one set per language.

Gifts

  • Give a villager anything you are holding.
  • Gifts are matched by item family, so flowers, jewels, coins, food, fish, weapons and metals all land differently.
  • Reactions depend on personality and traits: a greedy villager peaceful one does not want your sword.

Marriage, children and family

  • Marry a villager: courtship, engagement with a cost, weddi and divorce.
  • Marry another player: /ca marry <player>, answered with /ca accept or /ca decline. Your family gets its own surname, which eve
  • Children with your spouse, villager or player: a baby yo care for until they grow up.
  • Children inherit from both parents — face, height and trai has may pass on; what both have passes more easily.
  • Infertility is respected: if either parent carries the tra no children, and the game says so plainly.
  • Villagers court, marry and have children among themselves, so the village grows without you.
  • A navigable family tree that shows villager and player par when a player parent is offline.
  • Family Staff: gathers your spouse and descendants around y

Orders and work

  • Orders: follow me, wait here, come here, carry on, assign
  • Hire a lumberjack and the work is real: they walk to a tre bring you the timber.
  • They will not chop on land they are not allowed to touch, and trunks — never your wooden walls.
  • Wages on a timer: stop paying and they stop working, and they hold it against you.

Villages

  • Register a building from inside it. Validation is honest: a roof, with a bed inside.
  • Nine building types, recognised by what you put in them: house, manor, inn, smithy, armoury, tannery, library, laboratory, kitchen.
  • A village is your land claim — widen the claim and the vil
  • Standing, from Outcast to Mayor, earned from both halv the people and what you have built.

  • Decrees, unlocked as you rank up: birth rate, weddings, travellers and curfew.
  • Inns attract travellers you can offer a life in the villag refuse.
  • Villagers stay in the village they live in; walked into anothe out for themselves whether there is room for them there.

Daily life

  • They sleep in their own bed at night, under their village's curfew.
