

Hytale’s combat system has strong foundations, but limited opportunities for skill expression. This mod expands combat depth by introducing layered interactions between attacks and abilities, turning each encounter into a prediction-based duel.
Players will be rewarded for reading their opponent, anticipating their next move, and choosing the right response. Instead of trading blows, combat turns into a dynamic exchange of counters, baits, and punishments.
Light Attacks
Light attacks now consume stamina and cannot be used without it, rewarding proper resource management and preventing mindless spamming.
Attacking a guarded enemy with light attacks will also backfire, draining additional stamina and eventually leaving you vulnerable.
Heavy Attacks
Heavy attacks can break an opponent’s guard, opening them up for punishment. Enemies receive a visual indicator when their guard is broken.
However, charging a heavy attack leaves you exposed, and opponents can interrupt it by dealing damage. This creates opportunities for mindgames, baiting reactions, canceling at the right moment, or guarding to punish an attempted interruption.
Guard Bashes
Targets struck by a guard bash are unable to move while being knocked back, preventing them from mitigating knockback through sprinting. This allows players to capitalize on displacement and maintain pressure after a successful bash.
