Description
This mod plays a sound effect when you receive a chat message, to help alert you if you don't see the message.
It is configurable by each player; simply type the /chatsound command to open the configuration GUI. No permissions are required.
The sound effect is disabled by default. Configuration options include:
- Enabling/disabling the sound effect
- Whether to allow the sound to play when you send a message yourself
- The sound effect to play; select from any of the built-in sound effects
- The volume and pitch of the sound effect
