Better Look At enhances gameplay by displaying detailed, contextual information about blocks, entities, containers, and systems directly in the HUD. The HUD appears automatically when you look at something and is designed to be lightweight, informative, and highly configurable.

• Block name, quality, and representative image
• Block health bar (only when damaged)
• Detailed block data (hold ALT): Fuel and fuel quality and Consumable status
• Workbench progress tracking
• Bench inputs, outputs, tier, and fuels
• Recommended tools with quality-based backgrounds

👹 Entity Information

• Health bar
• Entity name
• Entity mod name
• Detailed entity data (hold ALT): Invulnerability status
• Entity icon/image (when available)

• Chest content preview
• Show and hide Chest UI: /bla chest --visibility={show, hide}
• Scalable chest UI: /bla chest --scale={xsm, sm, md, lg, xlg}

🛠️ Recommended Tools

🌱 Farming Information

• Growth stages and stage count
• Remaining time for the current stage
• Growth multiplier

🎛️ HUD & Configuration

The HUD is enabled by default and appears automatically when you look at a block, entity, or system.

For advanced control, the mod provides a command-based configuration system.

You can use either the full command or the short alias: /betterlookat or /bla

🧩 General HUD Settings

• Enable or disable the entire HUD: /bla {show,hide}
• Change HUD position on the screen: /bla position {top-left,top-center,top-right}

📦 Chest HUD Configuration

• Show or hide the chest HUD: /bla chest --visibility={show,hide}
• Adjust chest UI scale: /bla chest --scale={xsm,sm,md,lg,xlg}
