Tired of constantly refilling your furnace? Better Fuel improves Hytale’s combustion system by introducing advanced resources and infusion processes.

🌑 The New Standard: Coal

Step up from the basic Charcoal (6s). By smelting any type of wood in a furnace, you can now craft Coal:

• Duration: 12 seconds (2x longer than Charcoal).

🛠️ New Crafting Station: Essence Infuse Kiln

To unlock the true potential of your fuel, you’ll need the Essence Infuse Kiln.

• How to craft: Find the new “Better Fuel” category within the Arcanist's Workbench.
• Recipe: 6x Azure Logs + 6x Rock (any type).

✨ Infused Fuels (Upgraded)

Use your Kiln to infuse standard Coal with essences for superior performance:

• 🌿 Living Coal: Coal + Essence of Life.
• Duration: 16 seconds.
• 🔥 Blazing Coal: Coal + Essence of Fire.
• Duration: 26 seconds (More than double the standard Coal).

🌀 The Final Step: Unstable Infusions

Push your fuel to the limit! By adding an Essence of Void to your infused coal in the Kiln, you can make it "Unstable" boosting its duration by 50%:

• Unstable Living Coal: 24 seconds.
• Unstable Blazing Coal: 39 seconds.

🧪 Creative Mode & Testing

For builders and testers, we’ve included the Creative Coal. A single piece provides 99,999 seconds of burn time—perfect for long testing sessions!
