AliElevator — Vertical Elevator System

This mod adds a vertical elevator block to the game.

Craft the elevator block at the Arcanist's Workbench, the same station used for teleporters, and place it in the world. To link two (or more) elevators together, simply place them on the same X, Z coordinates, stacked at different heights — no extra linking step needed, the mod detects the column automatically.

How it works

• Crouch (sneak) while standing on an elevator to go down to the nearest elevator below you in the same column.
• Jump while standing on an elevator to go up to the nearest elevator above you in the same column.
• A small on-screen indicator shows which elevator in the column you're currently on, so you always know your position before moving.

Elevator Settings Menu

Look at an AliElevator and press F (or your configured key) to open its settings menu, where you can customize:

• Block appearance — choose any block from your inventory to change how the elevator looks.
• Color — pick a custom color for the elevator via the built-in color picker.
• Icon — choose from a set of icons, shown on the on-screen column indicator.
• Access — set the elevator to Public (anyone can use it) or Private (only allowed players).
• Permissions — add or remove specific players who are allowed to use a private elevator.

Installation

Just drag the mod into the mods folder of your Hytale server or world.

Perfect for survival, co-op and vertical base builds — towers, mineshafts, skyscrapers, anywhere you need fast vertical travel without stairs or ladders.

Upcoming Features / Planned Updates

The following features are planned for future updates:

• Custom teleport sounds and effects per elevator.
• Speed/delay configuration for the teleport, server-wide or per elevator.
• Full configuration system where everything becomes customizable and permission-based, such as teleport delay, max elevators per column and more.
