4.1.0 - Turning Animations and the Ghost Chicken - 2026-10-17
Supports Hytale 0.6.7 and later in Update 6, and Hytale 0.7. Requires Alec's Tamework >=5.4.0 <6.0. Update both mods together.
- Animals now step around when they turn on the spot, instead of spinning in place. Cows, calves, and pigs use the base game's unused turning animations, and every other tameable animal and the Frost Dragon get a new turning animation built from their own walk.
- Added the Ghost Chicken, an easter egg. On about one new moon in three it appears on top of a chicken coop: it floats about, blinks out of sight every so often, and vanishes when a player comes within 5 blocks. It is see-through and glows, fades away at dawn, and cannot be hurt.
- Wild Frost Dragons now cruise and soar while idle in flight and keep a level height against flying targets. In flight they wander up to 80 blocks from their home point.
