Description

Aces Floating Chests And WorkBenches

Aces Floating Chests And WorkBenches is a simple quality-of-life mod that allows chests and workbenches to remain in place when the block underneath them is removed.

Normally, removing the supporting block beneath a chest or workbench can cause it to break. This mod removes that downward support requirement, allowing supported storage and crafting stations to stay floating instead.

Features

• Chests can remain floating

• Workbenches can remain floating

• Only the downward support requirement is changed

• Normal breaking behaviour is preserved

• Normal drops are preserved

• Helps when replacing floors or rebuilding bases

• Keeps storage and crafting setups in place during renovations

• Works without disabling Hytale's normal block physics globally

• May also support compatible modded chests and workbenches

Why Use It?

This is mainly a building and convenience mod.

It makes it much easier to:

• Replace flooring underneath chests

• Remodel crafting areas

• Redesign bases without constantly removing storage

• Build unusual or floating layouts

• Avoid accidentally breaking useful stations while editing structures

How It Works

The mod modifies the support rules for detected chests and workbenches so they no longer require a block directly underneath them.

It does not make every block in the game float, and it does not stop you from breaking chests or workbenches normally.

Installation

Place the mod JAR in your Hytale Mods folder and start the game or server normally.
