Zonko’s Joke Shop

Zonko’s is back in business! This mod brings Zonko’s Joke Shop to Hogwarts with a freshly stocked selection of enchanted fireworks - from playful ground effects to spectacular sky-bursts - crafted to delight, dazzle, and occasionally surprise both caster and bystanders.

New Year Event: 5 Knuts Fireworks

From 27 December until 2 January, all fireworks cost 5 Knuts each at Zonko’s. These festive prices are based on real-world time and will be adjusted again at the start of the new year.
During this time, Headmaster Black temporarily waives House Point deductions for fireworks used on Hogwarts grounds.

Firework Widget (F8)

Open the Firework Widget with F8.

Activation Modes (Rockets & Fountains)

Inside the widget you can choose between three activation modes (for rockets and fountains):

Auto - fires automatically.
Interact - you must interact to start it.
Widget - the recommended option: you trigger firing directly from the widget.

You can change the activation mode either:

in the Rebind section of the Customizable Toolwheel, or
directly inside the Firework Widget.

Firing Options

The widget lets you fire fireworks in different ways:

Fire all fireworks of one type
Fire a single placed firework
Group fireworks into 8 groups and fire them as groups

10 Launches per Placement (Widget Mode)

When fireworks are launched from the widget, each placed firework comes with 10 launches before it needs to be placed again.
Only 1 item is consumed per placement, but you get 10 shots out of it — perfect for building full firework shows.

Group Hotkeys

Groups can be triggered via 1-8 while Holding Ctrl (all rebindable in the Settings menu) - even if the group widget is hidden.

Colour Customization

You can recolour fireworks to create your own looks:

Recolour an entire firework type, or
Recolour an individual placed firework

That means you can launch the same firework at the same time in different colours (because placed fireworks can have their own colours).

I’m currently working on making groups colourable as well, to make it easier to recolor groups of individually placed fireworks.

UI Visibility Controls

Along the top of the widget you can toggle the visibility of individual UI elements, giving you a cleaner view when you actually want to watch the fireworks.
