Adds a variety of custom wands.

IMPORTANT BEFORE DOWNLOADING: This mod replaces the character's main wand with a series of custom wands. Custom wands are not compatible with the game's handles. These models have been created by me and no models from the game or other sources have been used.

Wand Factory opens its doors to offer a variety of wands with custom handles and other magical objects that you can use as a wand in your adventure!

 


 

Features

 

Press Shift+PageUp in-game to open an interactive menu where you can select from a variety of wands. More will be added over time!

Enter wand style codes compatible with DT_CustomWandStyle to access the game's base wands and the Wand Factory combinations. Try entering DefaultWand or ElderWand (the base texture is... weird).

(NEW v1.2) Now you can select the wand type, handle, and wand color! Select a handle type, a wand type, and a texture, then click the button with the Wand Factory symbol to create your wand. IMPORTANT: You must select a handle, a wand type, and a texture to activate it.

(NEW v1.3) Now, when you enter a code, a list of suggestions will appear based on what you type. Select one by clicking the arrow to the left of the name, and it will automatically be set in the search bar. Then, just click the bar again and press enter to activate your new wand!

(NEW v1.4) Now you can access a new section in the interface by clicking the button in the top-left corner with two crossed wands. In this new section of the interface, you can select unique, non-customizable wands from various characters in the Harry Potter universe. Additionally, tooltips have been added to all interface elements with a brief description of each item.

Unique Wands

The Wand of the Chrillguther Family (Commisioned by Szűcs Levente @Chrillguther)

Levente Chrillguther WandThis wand was created by the Chrillguther family, an ancient pure-blood family specializing in witchcraft and the invention of magical artifacts. The wand is only loyal to its legitimate member. The Chrillguthers have no respect or remorse for life when it comes to acquiring knowledge. Created by Osthedius Chrillguther with ancient technology and through a sinister experiment in which he sacrificed the life of one of his twin sons, forcing him to become an obscurial and sealing him in his pure form of dark magic with enchanted goblin metal. This metal was embedded in the wand’s handle, becoming its core. The first owner of this wand was his other son, after all, Osthedius didn’t want to separate them. The wand was passed down through generations, and over the years, many Chrillguthers have claimed to hear strange whispers while wielding it. A Chrillguther with sufficiently powerful magic has the potential to unleash the true horror that the wand holds, allowing its bearer to control the pure dark magic of the obscurus.

FAQ

 

- What exactly does this mod do?

This mod replaces the main character's wand with a series of custom wands that you can select in-game. The mod offers an interactive interface that allows you to choose between different wand and handle models and also lets you change the texture or color of the wand.

- There are three panels: one with handles, another with wands, and another with textures, plus a button on the side. How does it work?

The first panel contains the handle, the second the wand type, and finally the wand color. Once you select all three (you must always select a handle, wand type, and texture), the button on the left side with the WandFactory symbol will light up, indicating that you have selected all three options. When you click it, your wand will automatically transform into the combination you've chosen, and a message will appear in the center of the screen.

- How does the search bar work and what are the codes I can enter?

The search bar works with the code format that the game uses for wands in its data table (DT_CustomWandStyle). These codes can be somewhat complicated, especially if you want to set a base game wand along with one of the base game handles. The base game wands have the following format: T00A_M0B, where A is a value from 0 to 7 and B is a value from 0 to 2. If you want to include the wand handles, the code is more complex: T00A_M0B_H00C_M0D, where A is a value from 0 to 7, B is a value from 0 to 2, C is a value from 0 to 13 (starting from 10, it would be H010), and D is a value from 0 to 2. The codes for the mod's wands are the ones that appear in the wand list. For example, if you want to select the Gryffindor handle, along with the Elder Wand and the Brown Walnut texture type, the code would be as follows: GryffindorWandVar4_0.

- What size are the wand textures?
