🪄 Spells & Talents Mod - Expanded Magic & Abilities

Immerse yourself deeper into the world of magic with Spells & Talents, a comprehensive modification that expands the spell system and character progression. This mod introduces new spells, enhances existing mechanics, and adds more strategic depth through talents.

✨ Main Features

Six unique spells with custom talents

Tarantallegra (+2 Talents) - Forces enemies to dance uncontrollably, rendering them defenseless.
Aguamenti (+2 Talents) - Summons a stream of water to damage and push back enemies.
Obliviate (+2 Talents) - Erases memories and grants invisibility; can lead to instant Apparition.
Apparition (+4 Talents) - Teleport around enemies or through obstacles.
Protego Diabolica (+2 Talents) - Summons a cursed ring of blue fire that incinerates enemies
Protego Maxima (+4 Talents) - Casts a protective dome with layered effects.
Avis -> Oppugno Combination (+4 Talents) Conjure Origami Birds (1.Cast) and release them on the 2. Cast to Attack your Enemy.
- Call the Death (+3 Talents) - Killing a foe with Avada Kedavra lets you revive your Enemy as Inferi with that Spell. If no Enemy was Killed the Tool is Blocked for aditional 90 seconds.
- Morsmordre (+1 Talent). - Conjures the Dark Mark, and Dark Wizards to fight under your Command.

With the Perk Army of the Cursed you can revive all killed Enemys that where Killed by Avada Kedavra.

PerDefault the Inferi are not following, you can select Follow by Opening the new Action Hud and click A or 4 (only avalible if Spell is Unlocked) The other 2 Inferi Tools are Unlocking with the Talents inside the Dark Arts Tree. When the Player is in Combat the Inferi are Switching to Attack State.

Magical Items (2. Item Wheel)

🔹 New Action Hud can be Opened by Doubleclick of V (keyboard) or Arrow Up (Gamepad) to use the Magical Items or to Controll the Inferi

Liquid Knowledge Potion (NEW)
Once you reach the Level in the Spoilerwarning , you can brew this potion to gain extra Talent Points through Potions.
Lentosia Potion - Slows down the World while you move in normal Speed
Azkabans Chronicles - A Book that can be placed on the Floor, that Sucks in Enemies that are close to it, allowing you to fight them later

of with the right Talent to switch them to your Team

Portkey - You can Place it on the Floor and Interact with it to create a Portkey. The Portkey will be added to the Inventory again. If you Place it again to Interact with it, you are Traveling to the Destination that was stored. The Portkey will also appear and you have few seconds to Destroy it in order to Store a new Location. (you can also Destroy the Location in the F9 Widget)
You can't Place a Portkey for creation inside a Dungeon. But you can Travel with it if there is a Location stored, to exit it.
Room of Requirements works but as some Users reported a Vivarium Location can lead to Infinit Falling (No Valid Level) Working on that.

Use the Mouse to select a Potion. On the Gamepad you haveto move the Stick and Click RT.
It works a bit different to the Main Toolwheel, to close it select something or click V or Arrow Up Again. (Or Esc, Start, Select, M)

Access in-game customization with the press of F9 or longpress of Arrow Up on Gamepad:

- Manually unlock custom spells
- Enable or disable custom voice lines
- Adjust max Apparition range and teleport animations

-The Lock removes from the Spell once the Spell is Unlocked with the Quest,

Spells & Talents

Tarantallegra

Forces humanoid enemies into erratic, uncontrollable movements, making them defenseless.

Talents:

Enchanted Ensemble - Tarantallegra affects multiple enemies simultaneously.
Dancing Drain - Drains enemies’ life force while they dance, healing the caster.

Aguamenti

Conjures a powerful stream of water, pushing back enemies and dealing damage.

Talents:

Surging Springs - Adds up to two additional water bursts for consistent pressure.
Cascade Barrage - Further enhances Aguamenti with an additional burst.

Obliviate

Erases a target’s memory, causing them to cease hostile actions.

Talents:

Forgotten Phantom - Instantly shrouds the caster in invisibility after use.
Phantom Apparition - Allows the caster to teleport behind their target if cast while invisible.

Apparition

Allows the caster to teleport a set distance or directly around an enemy.

Talents:

Range I - Increases teleportation distance.
Range II - Further extends teleportation range.
Range III - Maximizes teleportation distance.
Safe Apparition - Automatically casts Protego upon arrival.

Protego Diabolica

A dark protective spell that conjures a circle of cursed flames around the caster. Enemies who enter the ring are scorched, while the caster remains completely shielded within.

Incendio Maledicta - While Protego Diabolica is active, casting it again unleashes waves of fire from the edge of the shield toward nearby enemies. This power can be used repeatedly as long as the shield remains. The cooldown only begins once the protection fades.
Incendia Fracta - Enhances Protego Diabolica to break through all enemy shields upon activation, making it an unstoppable force against even the most well-defended foes. (only the Fire Ring, Its still a Red Spell)

Protego Maxima

Aegis Ignition - Casting Protego Maxima unleashes a concussive blast at the moment of activation, pushing back nearby enemies with raw magical force.
Arcane Aftershock - As Protego Maxima dissipates, a final burst of magic erupts outward, staggering enemies caught in its radius.
Circle of Protection - Expands the size of Protego Maxima, creating a shield of slightly increased radius that offers protection to a broader area.
Endura Maxima - Protego Maxima lasts longer, maintaining the shield’s protective power for an extended time.

Avis
Origami Flock I – Increases the number of birds summoned by Avis.
More birds means more pressure and greater potential for single-target burst. Conjures 2 more Birds.
Origami Flock II – Further increases the size of the flock,. Conjures 2 more Birds.
Swarming Loyalty – The summoned birds now follow the caster rather than staying at the original location, maintaining formation until launched.
Great for repositioning and reactive combat tactics.
Split Swarm – Instead of attacking a single enemy, the birds will automatically distribute themselves across multiple targets.
Perfect for area control and dealing with groups.

📜 How Apparition Works

If you have a target in range, you will teleport to a random position around them.
If the target is out of range, you will appear as close as possible instead.
If you have no target and the range hits an object, you will appear slightly offset on the ground before the surface.
If nothing is hit (e.g., aiming into the sky), you will appear at max range on the ground.
You can jump over obstacles by aiming over them - as long as your range is sufficient.
If the destination is unexplored, outside the map, or has no valid ground, you will not teleport and remain in place.

📜 Spell Unlock Conditions

Tarantallegra - Unlocked in "Fire and Vice".
Avis Unlocked in Ronens Assignment together with Reparo. Really early in the Game.
Aguamenti - Acquired through a Mermish Artefact in "Murky Depth".
Obliviate - Granted after "Percival Rackham’s Trial".
Apparition - Unlocked after completing Professor Howin’s Assignment (Catching a Diricawl).
Protego Diabolica - Unlocked in "Fire and Vice".
Protego Maxima - Unlocked in "In the Shadow of the Estate"
Call the Death - Unlocked after Unlocking Crucio, and defeating 30 Inferi. (Background Quest) Counter Starts on Crucio Unlock.
Morsmordre - 100 Kills with Avada Kedavra
Lentosia (Potion) - The Recipe can be buoyed at Percival Pippins Potions once Focuspotion is unlocked
Azkabans Chronicles - If you are a Hufflepuff it will Unlock with the Quest Prisoner of Love(Hufflepuff Quest). If not with the Room of Requirement's
Portkey - Unlocks with the Room of Requirement's

Liquid Knowledge can be brewed after Reading the Owl message from Pippin and then Visit his Shop and buy the Recipe(if you have the Money) . He will send you this Message once you reach Level 30. (I am not going to add more Talentpoints, so this is the new Way to Train your modded Talents)

🔮 Apparition & Dark Arts Animations

If you’ve read this far, you deserve to know a hidden mechanic!

Apparition changes visually based on your Dark Arts progress.
If you’ve unlocked Crucio & Avada Kedavra AND have spent Dark Arts talent points, your Apparition animation will transform.
- The deeper you go into the Dark Arts, the darker your Apparition becomes.
