IMPORTANT: Load "AFTER" Floo Companions mod.
This mod significantly enhances the behavior of almost every named NPC in the game by making them targetable and attackable. NPCs except fillers are no longer passive bystanders, they can now be engaged in combat by the player and will also fight back against enemies, making battles feel far more immersive and unpredictable.
You can press "Left Alt + X" to disable targeting for characters currently in your camera view. This is useful for certain quests where you duel students, as it prevents other nearby students from becoming aggressive.
Key Features:
- Target & Engage NPC Characters: Almost all NPCs, including students, vendors, professors, and townspeople, can now be targeted and attacked just like enemies. If you attack an NPC, they will turn hostile and retaliate. This adds a new layer of realism and unpredictability to encounters. Howewer, they can not be killed. Filler NPCs can not be attacked.
- NPCs Fight Back: Named NPCs are no longer helpless bystanders. They will now attack enemies instead of standing and doing nothing.
- Unique Stats for Every NPC: Each character now has their own health, damage, and spells, making fights more balanced and immersive.
- Non-Lethal Defeat for Humans: When defeated, NPCs will kneel down instead of dying. They remain incapacitated for a minute before they stand up, ensuring that combat interactions stay immersive and lore-friendly.
- Centaurs become targetable and they will also fight back when they are attacked.
This mod is perfect for players who want a more interactive, immersive, and challenging world. NPCs now behave more realistically, reacting to attacks and fights in ways that make every encounter feel fresh and dynamic.
To reset the aggro, you need to get far away from the attacked characters. Alternatively, saving then loading resets every interaction.
