This mod is a comprehensive balance overhaul that merges four separate mods into one, making Hogwarts Legacy more strategic, challenging, and immersive.

Included Mods: ✔ Spell Balance – A More Tactical Magic System (Spell adjustments) ✔ Gear Balance – A More Strategic Equipment System (Equipment rebalancing, unpublished on CF as solo Mod) ✔ Gameplay Balance – A More Strategic Hogwarts Experience (Resources & economy changes) ✔ Enemy Balance – A More Challenging Combat Experience (Enemy scaling & AI improvements)

⚠ Important Note: These four mods have been combined into a single package and do not need to be installed separately. The "Mainquest Balance" mod is NOT included.

Spell Balance – A More Tactical Magic System ✔ Lower damage, more strategy: Overpowered spells have been adjusted to prevent excessive spam. ✔ Reduced control effects: OP crowd control spells (Levioso, Transformation) have shorter durations. ✔ Realistic noise levels: Spells now generate sound based on their type—stealth is more challenging. ✔ New cooldowns: Some spells now have cooldowns for better combat pacing.

Spell Adjustments: Confringo: -20% damage, slower projectile, added gravity. Bombarda: -20% damage, increased noise impact. Incendio: +60% range, 25% faster channeling. Expelliarmus: -60% damage, +50% projectile speed. Crucio: x2 damage, duration reduced (20s → 6s). Imperio: Duration increased (30s → 45s), no effect on XXL enemies. Avada Kedavra: -20% range, massive noise impact. Petrificus Totalus: Now has a 15s cooldown. Disillusionment: New cooldown of 12s, max duration 30s.

Gear Balance – A More Strategic Equipment System ✔ Gear traits are now essential – No more raw damage stacking. ✔ Loot & vendor rework – Gear is no longer overpowered. ✔ More meaningful progression – Equipment choices matter more.

🔹 Why These Changes? Previously, gear traits were optional and raw damage was too strong, making most fights trivial. Now, builds are essential, and traits are necessary for maximizing combat potential.

⚠ Important: This mod does not modify existing gear. You must acquire new gear for changes to take effect.

Gameplay Balance – A More Strategic Hogwarts Experience ✔ Potions are stronger but more expensive:

Maxima & Edurus: +100% duration Focus Potion: 15s → 25s duration Invisibility Potion: 8s → 6s duration Thunderbrew: 30s → 45s duration Prices increased by up to 400% – Potions must be used wisely. ✔ Rebalanced plants & resources:

Longer growth times for all plants. Lower harvest yields, but increased potting table slots. Beast Vivarium: Increased species capacity. ✔ Economy tweaks:

Higher ingredient & potion costs – no more stockpiling healing potions. Vendors have limited stock, making farming more meaningful. ⚔️ Enemy Balance – A More Challenging Combat Experience ✔ Enemies now scale with your level: Fights are always engaging. ✔ Smarter AI & faster attack patterns: ✔ Higher-ranked enemies react tactically: ✔ RNG-based level scaling: Enemies spawn between -2 and +2 levels of the player.

Enemy AI Adjustments: Wolves & Mongrels: More aggressive, faster attacks. Trolls: 4 different aggression levels. Dark Wizards & Captains: Use smarter tactics & spell combos. All enemies: Faster attack speed, requiring better reaction time. Why Use This Mod?
