Choose Hard Difficulty when creating your character for the best experience.
Note: before attending your first potions class, be sure to pick up the ingredients required for an edurus potion. Sharp will NOT have enough in his storeroom.
Over 2,200 database edits geared towards un-casualing the game, making it more difficult and immersive, as the game should've been to begin with.
Other mods which edit experience, levels, spells, economy, room of requirement, etc. may conflict with this mod. Load this mod after those mods to override them, or Load it before those mods if you'd like to use their changes instead. This mod is meant to be an all-in-one difficulty solution.

(with this load order, the first mod will do nothing since my mod edits Avada Kedavra)

(with this load order, Avada Kedavra would have no cooldown since it's loaded after my mod)
Highly recommend a new game, avoid turning this mod off during your playthrough, avoid combining with mods that change level requirements or difficulty, as this mod is meant to be an all-in-one solution.
Mod Details:
Each difficulty mode's scaling has been altered to where enemies deal ~2x damage but have 20% less health. Boss type enemies don't have reduced health.
Prices on every item are changed to add weight to player's spending and looting choices.
Items found in shops have been significantly overhauled. Spintwitches brooms have been redistributed across various hamlet vendors and replaced with the balloon challenge brooms.
Income from selling gear, beasts, and disillusionment chests have been rebalanced to be more in line with other sources of income.
Potion and plant grow times are altered to streamline gameplay.
Ingredients required for all potion brewing has been overhauled to better fit their abundance in the world.
Moonstone cost of items is vastly increased, around 10x more expensive. Naturally generating moonstone drops are increased by ~2x
The entire level curve has been shifted so that lower levels take longer and higher levels are faster compared to vanilla. Overall amount of xp required to level 40 is unchanged.
All enemy spawns in the overworld are doubled. Kill challenges are doubled but the xp gained is halved.
Basic cast has its damage shifted from the fourth cast across all casts. Overall damage is unchanged compared to vanilla.
Incendio has a small buff to range.
Reduced cooldown of Avada Kedavra to 74 seconds from 90 seconds.
Reduced damage of final boss abilities by ~50%. Final boss was too unforgiving with this mod's built-in 2x enemy damage. The fight should be more manageable now.
Human enemies now have a chance to drop potions, and a very slight chance of dropping legendary gear.
Gear upgrades lowered from +16% +66% +257% damage to +10% +22% +54% damage.
Less merlin trials are required to complete lower levels. Overall number of Merlin trial challenges remains the same.
More balloons are required to complete lower level challenges. Overall number of balloon challenges remains the same.
Some of the experience earned from Pages and Astronomy has been transferred to Combat challenges. Overall amount of XP earned remains the same.
Field guide now requires all 150 Hogwarts pages and 55 Hogsmeade pages instead of 100 and 50. XP for each page lowered slightly to 60 from 80.
