# Steering wheel rework

- While still primarily intended for airships, they now work on rafts and dinos with platform saddles!
- The rework allowed changing airship controls to match standard ark controls, controller users should be able to fly up by moving while looking upwards just as on any other flyer
- Controllers no longer need a workaround, so **backwards movement has been re-enabled!**
- Known issue: Players might get a bit glitchy if walking into steering wheels on servers, this is purely visual and should have no affect on gameplay
- Removed steering wheel “ship options” due to conflict with rework. Regular ship structures are unaffected and still provide them as usual.

# Other

- Airship rotation should be less choppy on servers now (further fixes are still being worked on)
- Fixed sloop rudders snapping into place while rotating
- Fixes for various cases in which ships wouldn’t behave like vehicles, including:
  - Having health regeneration instead of repair option like other vehicles
  - Being affected by various creature abilities (including snow owl freeze)
- Fixed some edgecases regarding the “nudge” option on airships
- Fixed steering wheel bug where it would misalign itself upon re-joining a session or re-entering render range
