Showcase Storage Skins is approved for official servers!
Showcase Storage Skins transforms supported storage structures in ARK: Survival Ascended into display-style storage. Stored contents can appear as physical 3D items or item icons, depending on the storage type and item. Compatible skins also allow you to switch between physical item display mode and icon display mode. The skins include “Where is my dino?” and “Where is my item?” search features for finding items and creatures across supported storage structures, even between different storage types. Search results can be displayed in a list, and a beacon can be placed on the storage structure containing the selected item.

Local Game and Server Behavior
- In a local game, stored items can be read and displayed immediately. On a server, after applying a skin to a storage structure for the first time, you must open that structure’s inventory once so the skin can read its contents. After this initial read, the item display will continue working after relogging.
- In a local game, “Where is my dino?” and “Where is my item?” check all items in each inventory. On a server, searches initially check the first 32 items in each inventory, or the first 48 items in each Cryofridge. After opening a particular storage structure’s inventory once during the current game session, all items in that storage structure will be included in searches for the rest of the session.
