First seen in my ASE mod - ARK: Reclamation. Behold, the "Spoiled Tyrant" has returned. Buckle your seatbelts, you're in for a wild ride with this one.
Don't underestimate the Vastatyrannus as some simple Yuty variant. Living on a diet of spoiled meat and having the torpor pool and DPS to make a grown man cry, you'll need to EARN this fiery creature's loyalty before you can RULE the Arks with it.
- Like the Yuty, C-clicking still allows you to roar and grant courage to your nearby dinos
- Left-clicking is a melee attack sporting a NASTY gnashing effect making your targets bleed out
- Right-clicking is basically a two-fold attack that I'd best summarize as a "Fearful Flame" attack; If your targets don't succumb to being enflamed, then they'll be in a state of panic and run away from you
The Vastatyrannus is a KO tame that you have to WORK for... BE PREPARED! Once this beast is KO'd, feed it spoiled meat to tame it. Once tamed, it's key feature is the ability to rapidly spoil meat so it'll always stay fed when it kills its prey.
Another feature is how it can regenerate its health. Not only can the Vastatyrannus spew out fire to annihilate its enemies, but that same fire (as well as other extremely hot sources) can HEAL other Vastatyrannus.
Can the Vastatyrannus breed? YES. However, finding a female will be the issue since a female Vasta has a fairly low spawn rate. Vastas can spawn either in the Redwoods or on Carno Island (which, they already have a low chance to spawn)
