The icon categories are:

• Base Game This category contain skins based on the structure tiers in the game, these being Thatch, Wood, Adobe, Stone & TEK

• DLC This category has Ocean Platforms themed for each canon DLC map, these being, Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, Lost Colony & Genesis! They were designed to match perfectly using the tileset cosmetics brought with those maps!

• Exclusive This category has skins to make them look more natural, such as Grass Platform, Sandstone, Mossy Stone, Volocanic Stone and Iceberg!
