I originally made this for my own playthroughs. Frankly, I didn't expect so many others to enjoy or even want it as well. I have updated it to work with the current version of the game, but be aware that updates are not guaranteed, but will always be sporadic and likely have long timelines between each one if at all, as I don't play Ark as much anymore. I may or may not come back from time to time to update it. For now, hopefully this update squashes some of the issues that it has had for a while now.
This update is a complete overhaul and fix for the mod. I have tried to address the major bugs that were previously breaking the mod.
RESOLVED: ND Tranq arrows/darts added to get functionality all No Durability ranged weapons.
RESOLVED: The ND Torch now properly attaches to belts and dino saddles.
RESOLVED: The ND Cloth Shirt mesh for female characters is now fixed.
UPDATED: I have expanded the list of items that have No Durability Variants.
NEW: Cross Platform Support
What does it do? This mod adds unbreakable, no durability versions of almost every armor set, weapon, and tool in the game. No Durability items are crafted in their respective vanilla stations (Smithy, Fabricator, etc.) but are organized into their own "No Durability Armor" folder.
Current Items Implemented:
Armor: Cloth, Hide, Fur, Ghillie, Chitin, Metal (Flak), Miner's Helmet, Riot, Gas Mask, Night Vision Goggles, SCUBA, Shields, and TEK.
Ranged: Bow, Compound Bow, Crossbow, Slingshot, Longneck Rifle, Assault Rifle, Shotguns, Machined Sniper, Machined Pistol, Rocket Launcher, Harpoon.
Melee: Sword, TEK Sword, Pike, Spear, Lance, Stone Club, Prod, Tranq Spear Bolt.
Tools: Pickaxes, Hatchets, Sickle, Torch, Fishing Rod, Scissors, Paintbrush, Spray Paint.
Why make this? Essentially, I used this mod back in Ark Survival Evolved because I play with very high levels which means they do high amounts damage. This would then cause any armor to be broken in one hit most of the time which was annoying to repair all the time.
Wasn't this on Ark Survival Evolved? Yes, the idea of this comes from the "No Durability Armor Sets" mod made by Mistrfister on Ark Survival Evolved, as such I will delete this if they update the mod for Ascended.
