This mod adds the scrapped scorched earth creature to the game with new animations, sounds, Textures, Variants, cosmetics, abilities, a saddle and much more!

all new stuff for Hiveopod standalone Mod TLDR -All new textures (base hiveopod textures done by Eclipse -Completely overhauled all animations (done by Faye) -All new sounds for the hiveopod (Done by Mordekaiser) -Many New Hiveopod Related Cosmetics -Brand new abilities for the hiveopod -Brand new saddle that can be crafted and found in loot drops (Done by DarkEdgeTV) -Aberrant Hiveopod Variant -Waste Hiveopod variant with changes to its playstyle and brand new looks! (model done by DarkEdgeTV and Clay_)

Hiveopod Cosmetics -there is now a folder in the smithy dedicated to hiveopod related cosmetics. -with these being: Hiveopod Chibi,Dapper Hiveopod Chibi,Waste Hiveopod Chibi and an ark the animated series themed costume for the hiveopod -there is also a ghost hiveopod Costume you can craft in the fear ascended folder in the smithy

Hiveopod Taming Method: -can be tamed with high kibble or salted spoiled meat which can be crafted in a mortar and pestle (icon texture done by EL) -Make sure to have insect repellant on and tame it by passive feeding it

Hiveopod New Abilities And Balancing -The Hiveopod its base attack is a bite -The Hiveopod its secondary attack inflicts the enraged debuff on enemies -When the hiveopod is killed in the wild it drops hiveopod toxin which can be used as bio toxin allowing you to craft stuff that requires biotoxin on maps like scorched earth and extinction -The Hiveopod generates Hiveopod Toxin and Hiveopod Bile slowly overtime in its inventory -Hiveopod its swarm ability is currently disabled and will be added in the future -when the hiveopod now kills an insect it will get a buff (buff depends on what insect you kill) these are the buff tiers you can get 5 normal tier buffs that last around 10-30 seconds Stamina regen buff 12 seconds Health regen buff 10 seconds 25% Resistance buff 24 seconds 30% Damage buff 24 seconds 50% Speed buff 14 seconds 2 super tier buffs that last around 30-60 seconds 50% Damage buff 50 seconds Healing buff 45 seconds 2 ultra tier buffs that last around 20 minutes 40% damage and 30% speed buff 20 minutes Healing and stamina regen buff 20 minutes 1 boss tier buffs that last around 20 hours 2X Damage,25% resistance and 50% speed buff -the hiveopod also gains a 20% damage and resistance buff when in an artifact cave

Waste Hiveopod Variant The waste hiveopod has a brand new model and textures Spawns in the forbidden zone will not target the survivors without being attacked first for lore reasons to tame them you need to drag bodies of dead corrupted creatures to them and feed it to them (similar to an otter) its very easy to do and the challenge is more to deal with the dangerous environment around you and the corrupted bodies spoiling fast (i also think you can just grab the hiveopod with a flyer and get it somewhere safer) instead of getting buffs from insects it gets a corruption killer buff from killing corrupted creatures it harvests more corrupted polymer and element dust from creatures it can craft hardened corrupted polymer and concentrated sulfur in its inventory the stab now inflicts enemies with the corrupted mark debuff that makes them take 25% more damage instead of the enraged debuff

Revenant Hiveopod Variant Spawns in the rockwell zones on lost colony this variant requires lost colony dlc to be used will not target the survivors without being attacked first for lore reasons to tame them you need to drag bodies of dead revenant creatures (or gloons) to them and feed it to them (similar to an otter) its very easy to do and the challenge is more to deal with the dangerous environment around you (i also think you can just grab the hiveopod with a flyer and get it somewhere safer) instead of getting buffs from insects it gets a revenant killer buff from killing revenant creatures it harvests organic polymer and spoiled meat from any creature it very slowly makes organic polymer in its inventory organic polymer spoils slower in its inventory aswell the stab now inflicts enemies with the necrotic mark debuff It can also mate with gloons! dont ask why

Where Hiveopod spawn: Scorched Earth: caves and wyvern trench The Center: lava island Aberration: fertile cave, element cave and rock drake trenches Ragnarok: Wyvern trench and at the volcano Valguero: regular hiveopod spawns in the wyvern trench and aberrant hiveopod spawns in the rockdrake trench Extinction: regular hiveopod spawns in the sulfur fields and desert cave and waste hiveopod spawns in the forbidden zone Lost Colony: regular hiveopod spawns in the thermal caldera and the revenant hiveopod spawns in the aberrant zones

Extra Notes -atm there is no ground conform and ground conform is the thing which allows a creature to stand on inclines naturally without it everything still works but you will notice if the hiveopod is on not even terrain that will look a bit weird. i have been trying to figure out how to do ground conform but i have been unable to for some time now so this will not be a thing until i can find someone that can set it up for me -all variants of the hiveopod can mate with each other!
