This mod adds the Ichthyotitan, a powerful vanilla-style ocean predator based on the Shastasaurus.

Imagine a creature with the size of a Shastasaurus, but the aggression and dominance of a Giganotosaurus.

The Ichthyotitan is designed to be a true apex predator of the oceans, capable of challenging even the largest threats lurking beneath the waves.

🐋 Ichthyotitan

While sharing its ancestry with the peaceful Shastasaurus, the Ichthyotitan has evolved into something far more dangerous.

Its immense size, devastating attacks, and commanding presence make it one of the most feared creatures in the ocean.

Many survivors simply refer to it as:

"The Giga of the Seas."

Primary Attack - Directional Bite

• Attack direction follows your movement input

Secondary Attack - Directional Tail Swipe

• Tail attack follows your movement input

C - Roar

Buffs the Ichthyotitan and nearby allies for 40 seconds:

• 20% Damage Reduction
• 20% Increased Damage
• Improved Turning Radius
• +20 Stamina per Second

Space - Barrel Roll

• Cosmetic barrel roll

🧬 Passive Abilities

Ocean Apex

The sheer presence of an Ichthyotitan changes the behavior of nearby wildlife.

• Significantly reduces the aggro range of many ocean predators
• Causes various prey creatures to flee when they spot an Ichthyotitan

Cephalopod Hunter

The Ichthyotitan specializes in hunting tentacled creatures.

• Deals 3x damage to cephalopods
• Includes creatures such as:
  • Tusoteuthis
  • Ammonites
  • Trilobites
  • Palaeoctopus

• Ocean near the surface
• Deep ocean regions

🐾 Taming

The Ichthyotitan must first be weakened before it can be knocked out.

Step 1

• Reduce its health to 50% or lower

Step 2

• KO tame it like a normal creature

Preferred Food

Best Taming Effectiveness:

1. Tuso Eyes
2. Leedsichthys Blubber

Good:
3. Tuso Tentacles

Poor:
4. Ammonite Bile

Ammonite Bile requires significantly more resources and results in much lower taming effectiveness.
