Wild Seas adds creatures inspired by ATLAS, rebuilt for ASA with custom abilities, new animations, edited meshes, unique mechanics, and roles designed to expand aquatic gameplay.

Every creature is designed to fill its own niche while staying as close as possible to vanilla progression and balance.

Fast early-game dolphin and exploration mount.

Features:

• Surface swimming mode
• Oxygen sharing with allied players
• Extreme swimming speed
• Stamina-restoring breaches

Fast mid-game spear fish focused on burst damage and control.

Features:

• Bleeding stab attacks
• Impale mechanic
• 360° stab attack
• Corpse harvesting bite

Large peaceful ocean herbivore and underwater livestock.

A hammerhead shark built around tracking, exploration, and utility.

Features:

• Tracks corpses and wounded creatures
• Bleeding bite
• Tail slam with stun
• Loot crate detection
• Alpha variant available

🪼 Stygiomedusa

A massive deep-sea jellyfish drifting through the darkest parts of the ocean.

Wild Stygiomedusa appears as a rare, boss-like deep-sea encounter. While dangerous, it is designed as a midgame ocean encounter rather than an endgame boss.

Features:

• Poison attack that applies heavy Torpor instead of stunning targets
• Tamed Stygiomedusa is rideable
• Focused more on utility and resource production than raw combat

Taming:

Stygiomedusa cannot be tamed directly.

Defeat the wild boss variant to obtain a Stygiomedusa Polyp. The Polyp functions like an egg and hatches into your own tamed Stygiomedusa.
