Dino Level Config (Command) changes how wild dinosaur levels work by using a command-based system instead of INI configuration, that's why console players can also use the mod.

To change the maximum level of wild dinos, use: Cheat ScriptCommand SetMaxDinoLevel (number)

This command allows you to define the maximum wild dinosaur level at runtime. It accepts any numeric value, including very low values such as 1, providing full control over difficulty scaling.

Because the system is command-based, it works on dedicated servers, singleplayer, and console, without requiring INI files.

The selected value is saved and continuously enforced by the mod, so there is no need to reapply the command or worry about it resetting after restarts.

Important: The mod only affects newly spawned wild dinosaurs and does not modify existing ones. For this reason, it is strongly recommended to execute the DestroyWildDinos command in the following situations:

-when installing the mod for the first time on an existing world

-when executing the command for the first time

-when changing the maximum level value

This ensures that all wild dinosaurs respawn using the new level settings.

It is also important to note that ARK has a hard internal level cap. Even if extremely high values are set (for example, 1,000,000), the effective maximum wild dinosaur level will still be around 1500. This is a limitation of the game engine and cannot be bypassed.

If the command is not used, the mod automatically applies a new default maximum wild dinosaur level of 450 instead of the vanilla 150.

This mod is intended for server owners who want simple, reliable control over wild dinosaur levels without INI configuration, while respecting ARK’s technical limitations.
