You can upgrade your dinos so you don't need to replace them in the late game.

The idea is to modify your tamed wild dinos so you can keep them all the way to endgame.

That level 1 Trike named Lechuga — the one you tamed at the beginning and don't want to replace — will be imprinted, have its wild level increased, and receive gene injections. The goal is to respect the effort it took to get there while maintaining vanilla ARK balance.

🦖 Train your dino by killing creatures to reach the server's max wild level Post Taming. A tamed wild dino will level up by killing based on the drag weight of its target.

If a low drag weight dino kills a high drag weight creature, progression is faster (e.g., Otter kills Diplodocus). There are three tiers: Low, Medium, and High.

Kills made while mounted also grant experience, even if the mount does not deal the final melee blow. For example, shooting a creature while riding a dino will still contribute to its progression, but at a reduced rate compared to direct melee kills by the mount.

Alpha creatures grant significantly more levels due to their alpha status, making them high-risk, high-reward targets.

Creature kills also contribute to leveling up shoulder-mounted creatures (At a slower rate)

🍼 Imprint your wild dinos by feeding special kibble.

👣 Increase imprint by having your dino follow you.

🐎 Increase imprint by riding your dino.

🦜 Increase imprint by equipping your dino on your shoulder.

🦖 Transfer stats from a dino of the same species to another one.
(kill the dino,while he's unconscious, hitting it with a scalpel, to extract its stats, in form of the Primal Cordis, craft the Cordis Vitae to pass the stats to another creature) "Careful, both items have a short spoilage time."

The scalpel is now capable of extracting a Primal Cordis directly from a fertilized egg

Imprint multiplier adjusts based on server config values, like baby growth rate, to match server balance. You won’t need to tweak it manually, but you can override it if needed.
