Description
Desparia Variant Collective adds in many variants of existing creatures to your ARK. These variants are naturally able to breed with vanilla versions.
This mod should NOT be run with the standalone versions. It has everything they provide, mixing them may cause conflicts. These being- Desparia Variants: Naturals, Desparia Variants, Desparia Variants: Aberrant, Desparia Variants: Forgotten, Desparia Variants: Scorched, Desparia Variants: Wasteland, Desparia Variants: Lucid, Desparia Variants: Risen.
Can be run with Desparia Variants: Easter Event and Desparia Variants: Valentine's Event.
Why run Collective over the standalones?
- Receives all new variants types first.
- Exclusive combination Lucid/Risen variants.
- Any future collaborative content will only be in this mod.
Natural- Natural variants are inspired by real world animals, some matching closely to their species, others with more creativity. These spawn in place of their vanilla counterparts (Normal) at a 10% chance. Natural creatures make for great utility, being faster, and a bit more bulky and offensive than vanilla creatures.

Taming- Pied Gigadesmodus is obtained by breeding Pied Desmodus, 1% chance to lay a Gigadesmodus egg sac.
Desparia- Our namesake variant, fantastical in appearance, they vibrantly glow. These spawn in place of their vanilla counterparts (Normal and Aberrant) at a 5% chance. Desparia creatures trade off defensive abilities to be agile and offensive.

Taming- Desparia Gigadesmodus is obtained by breeding Desparia Desmodus, 1% chance to lay a Gigadesmodus egg sac.
Gilded Gilded spawn in place of their vanilla counterparts at a 5% chance. Their bodies are clad in gold that boost their hp and melee, though it does slow them a bit.

Forgotten- A ghostly variant that stalks the ARKs, Forgotten creatures are brutal combatants who focus far more on their offensive skills but making them suffer greatly in defense. These variants spawn in at higher levels than normal (Tek equivalent). Rare to find in the wild, they will spawn in place of their vanilla counterparts (Normal and Aberrant) at a 1% chance, making them quite the prize to obtain.

Nebula Nebula spawn in place of their vanilla counterparts at a 1% chance. These will also spawn at higher levels (Tek) Nebula are elegant creatures, with bodies mimicking the night sky. They prefer to take things at their own pace and tend to wait for their prey to move in and admire them. What they lack in speed, they make up for in high defense.

Aberrant- Similar to vanilla Aberrant creatures, these are designed to add more variety to Aberration. These will replace specific Aberrant creatures at differing %s.

Taming- Aberrant Deinonychus is a knockout tame.
Scorched- These variants are adapted to the harsh life in the desert. These have the same stats as their normal counterparts and spawn exclusively in desert environments. Scorched variants have varying weight reduction on items, making them perfect packmules.

- Kentrosaurus- 50% weight reduction on all Berries and Crops
- Direwolf- 75% weight reduction on Hide, Pelt, Chitin, Keratin. 25% weight reduction on all raw meats, Spoiled meat.
- Doedicurus- 90% weight reduction on Stone. 50% weight reduction on Obsidian, Flint, Crystal, Metal, Element Dust, Silicate, Sand. 25% weight reduction on Wood, Fungal/Corrupted Wood, and Thatch.
- Troodon- 50% weight reduction on all raw meats, Spoiled Meat, Hide, Pelt, Chitin, Keratin.
- Parasaur- 50% weight reduction on all Berries and Crops, Cactus Sap. 25% weight reduction on Wood and Thatch
- Ankylosaurus- 90% weight reduction on Metal and Scrap Metal, 50% weight reduction on Obsidian, Flint, Crystal, Stone, Element Dust, Silicate, Sand. 25% weight reduction on Wood, Fungal/Corrupted Wood, and Thatch.
- Argentavis- 75% Weight reduction on Metal, Scrap Metal, Metal Ingot, Obsidian, Crystal, Stone, Polymer, Black Pearls, Flint, Sand. 50% Weight reduction on All Raw Meats, Spoiled Meat, Element Dust, Silicate. 25% Weight reduction on Hide, Pelt, Chitin, Keratin, Wood, Corrupt/Fungal Wood, Thatch
- Kaprosuchus- 50% weight reduction on all raw meats, Spoiled Meat, Hide, Pelt, Chitin, Keratin.
- Microraptor- 50% weight reduction on all raw meats, Spoiled Meat, Hide, Pelt, Chitin, Keratin.
- Pegomastax- 50% weight reduction on all Berries and Crops, Cactus Sap.
- Purlovia- 50% weight reduction on all raw meats, Spoiled Meat, Hide, Pelt, Chitin, Keratin.
Wasteland Wasteland creatures are found roaming Extinction. Their energy infused bodies make them adept at hunting Corrupteds, they deal increased damage to them and have reduced carry weight on Corrupted Nodules, Black Pearls, Corrupt Hearts, and Angler Gel. Some are rarely spotted amongst populations of corrupteds, seeming to prefer hunting matching species.

Wraith Wraith are formidable creatures, boasting extreme speed and power, a true glass cannon. They spawn exclusively on Lost Colony alongside vanilla counterparts. Beyond being devastating in combat, Wraith passively produce Blood Packs on wander and are able to craft Sanguine Elixirs in their inventory. They do however have a bit of a taste for blood and may desire to eat their share. It has also been observed that some Wraith creatures have had a change in diet.

Lucid- These are tameable versions of corrupted creatures. They will spawn alongside vanilla corrupteds. Lucid variants deal increased damage to corrupted creatures. In line with the Enforcer buff (4x)

Lucid Combination Variants- Exclusive to Desparia Variant Collective.
These variants will receive the stat multipliers in addition to the increased damage to corrupted and tek levels.
All creatures that currently have variants in the categories listed here have combination variants.
- Natural- 10% chance to spawn in place of Lucid
- Desparia/Gilded- 5% chance to spawn in place of Lucid
- Forgotten/Nebula- 1% chance to spawn in place of Lucid
Taming- All but Reaper King, Rock Drake and Wyvern are standard knockout tames and will consume the same foods as normal creatures.
Reaper King, Rock Drake and Wyvern can only be obtained by defeating wild ones and collecting the dormant version from loot. These are not guaranteed drops and may take a few kills before getting your hands on them.
- Dormant Lucid Rock Drake and Wyvern will spawn a tamed version of them at 190
- Dormant Lucid Reaper King will spawn a tamed version of it at 225
Risen- Risen creatures are tameable versions of Revenant creatures. They are found alongside Revenant creatures. Though recovering their minds enough to be tamed, the infection has taken a toll on their bodies. Boasting high hp stats, a greater resistance to charge light as well as increased melee, at the expense of a great amount of speed.

Risen Combination Variants- Exclusive to Desparia Variant Collective.
These variants will receive the variant multiplier in addition to its existing multiplier as will as being at tek levels, making them formidable additions.
All creatures that currently have variants in the categories listed here have combination variants.

- Forgotten/Nebula- 1% chance to spawn in place of Risen

- Aberrant- +6% melee, -4% hp (Same as vanilla Aberrant)
- Risen- +20% hp, +10% melee, -20% speed.
- Wraith- +20% melee, +25% Speed, -25% hp
