Dark Puddles Rounded Structures: Slate Brick

The Dark Puddle Signature Stylized building tier. Dark slate brick framed in deep red-brown redwood timber, with a slow-pulsing blue glow running between the bricks and wine-maroon highlights drifting through it. The slate has a wet shimmer that looks like water running down the walls.

What's in it

• The full rounded set in three sizes (Regular, Large, Grand): rounded walls and round tower windows, floor and ceiling coves, junctions, pod and dome corners, round end walls and fillers (with mirrored versions), round door frames and doors, round foundations and round steps, round ceilings, catwalks and spiral stairs.
• The complete square set: every vanilla stone piece in Slate Brick. Foundations, ceilings, walls, doorways, windows, triangles and quarters, roofs, ramps, stairs, pillars, railings, fences, doors, gates, hatches, cellar and hangar doors, large walls, behemoth gates, the tree platform, a gravestone and a water tap/intake.
• Sloped walls come in left, right and flipped versions (standard and shallow). A sloped wall and its flipped twin snap together along the cut into one full square wall: aim the second piece at the middle of the first.
• Curved doors: a Rounded Double Doorway (Centred) with a Curved Double Door bent to the tower wall, and a Curved Door (left or right hinge) for the Rounded Doorway.
• Everything snaps to vanilla stone and to each other, so you can mix Slate with any vanilla base. Round tower windows take the vanilla stone window shutter.

Crafting and strength

• Each menu is one engram. Learn it once and you get every piece in that menu; cycle through them while placing, the same way you pick a doorframe or window. Everything is crafted in your inventory, and picking a piece up gives the Slate item back.
• Costs stone, wood and obsidian. Large rounded pieces cost as much as 4 regular pieces, and Grand pieces cost the same as a Behemoth gate.
• Sits between stone and metal. It takes about a third of the explosive damage stone does and lasts longer than stone before it decays.

Heads-up: in a coming update these engrams merge into one DPRS Slate Brick Tier engram. It unlocks the whole set, and you can switch the menus on and off in your inventory to save space. If you've already spent points on the menus above, a Mindwipe refunds them.

Standalone You don't need the Rounded Structures stone mod. Run it on its own, or alongside the stone mod and mix the two.
