Abilities: (Normal Thorax)

Climbing - Climb any surface, reach new heights, crawl on walls, this spider can do it all!

Chargeable Jump - Launch yourself in any direction incredibly far to make travelling all the easier

Pounce on Prey - Enable pounce to paralyse smaller creatures when jumping over them, allowing you to deal some sneaky damage!

Dance - Male spiders have the ability to dance, with Abberant variants releasing a shocking glow when doing so

Female Pheromones - Females are able to drop pheromones, causing any wild male spider to dance, allowing them to be tamed

Venomous Bite: Toggle the spiders bite type to deal less damage but more torpor or vice versa

Abilities: (Aberrant Thorax, Jungle is the same)

Pounce is now Web Spit - With silk in its inventory, Aberrant jumping spiders are able to spit out a toxic web ball

Charged Dance - Male spiders have the ability to dance, with Abberant variants releasing a shocking glow when doing so

Abilities: (Snow Thorax)

Web Spit is a now snowball spit

Snowball Production - Instead of silk, the snow spider produces snowballs

Spawns

Thorax Spiders spawn in any redwoods on any map, the dunes on scorched, as well as some grassland areas and caves

Aberrant Thorax Spiders spawn where rock drakes spawn (aside from trench), bio luminescent zones, and shares spawns with the yi-ling

Jungle Thorax Spiders spawn in any jungle

Snow Thorax Spiders spawn in snow areas

Taming

Taming these oddly cute creatures is an adventurous endeavour that makes befriending them a little more immersive

Passive Taming: Approach mashed insects or meats to gain their trust.

Normal Females: Equip an iridescent chitin shield to entice them into allowing you to approach and tame.

Aberrant Females: Equip a lantern pet on your shoulder, clap to turn on its late and walk up to a female to tame

Snow Females: Equip a fur shirt and walk up and tame

Jungle Females: Equip a ghillie shirt and walk up and tame

All Males: Take control of a female and drop pheromones to induce a mesmerizing dance. Seize the moment within a ten-second window to begin taming
